Having dreamt of Kaname holding their child 'while taking deep breathes of sunshine-filled air and basking in the sun', Yuuki's dream finally comes true in the bonus chapter where Kaname embraces his daughter in the sunlight as he awakens from his 'never-ending' slumber.
Note how before the baby practically fitted his hand, Kaname now needs to wrap his entire arm around Ai's body. So cute!

Don't you find it interesting how the last thing Kaname did before he went into a slumber was embrace Yuuki as a vampire, and the first thing he does as a human is embrace their daughter? Its as if his body is still in the middle of performing that function - as he did fall into his slumber in the middle of the embrace. Its as if the body/heart still remembered the embrace even in those 1000 years he slept.
There is a saying which goes something on the lines of: Even if the body forgets, the heart remembers. And I find it absolutely adorable that Kaname immediately embraces his daughter, as if knowing how fragile she must feel after just witnessing the passing of her mother and being finally able to meet her father. Not only would she be nervous, but I am sure she would be experiencing a mixture of strong emotions and need someone to just wrap their arms around her and calm her down - which Kaname does I am sure. Such a fatherly instinct. To see his daughter cry, he instinctively wraps her protectively in an embrace, despite just being told that she is his daughter. Moreover, just focus on those tears in Ai's eyes. Look how damn happy she is.
