I love how there’s something called “yumehate” now and like it’s like yumeshipping but it’s ENEMIES and not a ship and I love how they’re like “_____ yumehaters PLEASE INTERACT” when majority of the yumeshippers are nonsharing like I meannnnn ofcourse why would you be nonsharing about an enemy lmao

I like to credit sudden popularity of self shipping to the rise of the term “yumeshipping”, not because it has anything to do with it being a ‘fun/cute’ Japanese term (although there is truth in that), but because it opens up the door for a bunch of other terms too.

Yumehating. My f/e. Enemy.

Yumeparenting. My f/c. Child.

Yumekinning. My f/s. Sibling.

The possibilities are endless, guys. The word is so much greater than we can imagine.
