A happy tail injury prevention sling made from an old trousers
Looks good she can wag piss and poop, but tail is safe and she can’t really reach it.
Thistle is a size 12 in lady’s tracky dacks if you’re wondering. I think a size 10 would suit her better.
#dogs#dog health#happy tail#you'll never guess who chewed off off the happy tail bandage#3 hints#starts with t#ends with e#blue#yup thistle#which damaged the tail in the process#honestly at this point we've had more damage from the damn repeat bandages than from actual wagging#sicne teaching her to be calmer has been helping with the wagging#it should be called overexcitement tail not happy tail#anyway#found this cool idea for a sling#i've got all these old clothes i was gonna throw out soe gonna try this one#sicne even with the bandage on her tail was all over the place getting bruise#but this keeps it neatly tucked away while it heals#like this much better#and so easily done less touching of the actual wound so less cranky with me#petititon to rename it to overexcited overstimulated tail#the attempt to spare my feelings be making shes happy jokes has gotten old#and makes it sound like a behavioural thing we cant fix cause she's just happy#no no no she's over excited when i get home thats what is wrong#and i've let it go on too long cause when she was solo it was manageable but now duo household#shes in a feedback loop#gotta change my behaviour#to change her behaviour
