Kakegurui incorrect quotes #11
Yuriko: Ugh, crushes are so dumb.
Midari: | know. Whenever I'm near the person I like just start acting stupid.
Yuriko: But you're always acting stupid?
Midari:…
Midari: Yeah, don't think about that too hard.
Kakegurui quotes with no context based off of shit me and my best friend have said Pt. 3
Midari: Woah, this thing vibrates??
Kirari: Please don't kill my fish.
Itsuki: Can humans eat butterflies? But it has the word butter in it-
Mary, ranting about Ririka: HOW IS SHE SO FUCKING HOT AND RESPECTFUL?!
Ryota: I would rather be ugly and feel no pain, but unfortunately I'm usually ugly and constantly in pain, so life screwed me from both ends, I guess.
Sayaka to Kirari: Are you sure this water's sanitary? It looks questionable to me!
Kirari: It's fine, honey.
Runa: To the man that invented zero... thanks for nothing.
Ririka: My sister is gay, but I'm only homophobic when she's mean to me.
Midari: Yuriko be proud of me, I actually drank water today.
Yuriko to Sayaka: What's wrong with Midari?
Sayaka, rolling her eyes: What isn't?
Yuriko: No don't say that. I love her.
Itsuki: Mary, you have too many wives. Let me have one for a change.
Midari to Sayaka: Listen-
Sayaka, cutting her off: I don't think I want to, honestly. I don't wanna lose any more of my innocence that you've already stolen from me.
Yumemi: That's it, bitch. Your ass is getting ghosted.
Midari: Badonkers and drugs. That's all I want.
Kirari: Do I look like a straight woman right now?
Yumeko: Because I have the memory of a teaspoon, remind me where you found the audacity.
Mary to Kirari: Bitch, how are you walking this fucking slow?? You're gay!
Ririka: Leave me be and let me wear my mask as an excuse to not smile at people.
Kirari to Sayaka: Why are you drinking an extra large Mc Donald's iced coffee right now? It's two in the morning!
Sayaka: I'm too tired to fall asleep, so I'm staying up.
Mary after Yumeko flirts with her: I will spray you with Windex.
Sayaka: I have so much caffeine in my blood that if a vampire sucked my blood, they'd be energized for a year.
Yuriko: I can't see what your saying... I mean hear. Well with my blind ass, I can't see either.
Runa: I'm so mad that we both forgot what we were talking about. I'm pretty sure it was important.
Itsuki: My standards for men are a lot higher than they are for women. And that's kinda sad.
Ririka: It's midnight and you won't stop singing and listening to Cavetown... are you depressed?
Kirari: Do normal people not laugh during horror movie jump scares?

On the patio of an inn that’s centered in a village whose name remains foggy to her, Yuriko sips the last of her tea. It’s a warm night. The skin underneath her kimono itches a bit, as if the weather has finally caught up with her. As if it’s willing to wrap around her in all the ways that it can before making itself known, before making the previous season nothing more than a memory.
What little snow remains has either started thawing or been crushed underneath dozens of shoes beforehand. Leaves on trees have started regrowing and filling the air. Flowers have started blooming too. Winter has really become nothing more than an afterthought, it seems. Spring’s here, but she doesn’t want to acknowledge it just yet.
She decided a long time ago that winter was her favorite season. It wasn’t due to any sentimental reason, but because she couldn’t help but notice there were less problems to deal with. Less people to worry about, dropping temperatures would take care of the few that stuck around anyway. She liked that, she hoped it would stay for as long as possible.
Behind her, she hears movement. Earlier there was an abundance of laughter, of guests sorting themselves out. Yuriko didn’t mind the noise then. But here’s the thing: it’s quiet. It’s an eerie night in the middle of March, not to mention it’s late, and someone’s moving. Moving and awake and-
Yuriko tips her cup back. The smell of Chamomile floods her senses as the taste spills past her lips. She lets it sit uneasily between the fingers of her left hand while she holds her right out. She reaches for her lap, then moves quickly.
Her hands aren’t empty. Haven’t been for a really, really long time. If the weight of her sword can’t be settled on her lap, then she finds it shifted into her hands. Her arm is behind her, the weight barely slips.
“You know there’s other ways to say hello to people, right?” Midari says, her voice is nothing but easy and recognizable. It lacks the rasp she usually has. Like the night, it’s quiet.
Yuriko smiles. Smiles so wide it starts to hurt instantly. She’s still not used to this, actually.
“What?” She says. “Do you want me to greet you like how a housewife would? My, you’ve gotten boring.”
“And you,” Midari replies as she catches the tip of the blade with her fingers. “Aren’t as alert as you used to be. Your hands are shaking,” she notes.
“I don’t want to hurt you,” Yuriko states.
Her face doesn’t flush and she doesn’t feel any trademark signs of embarrassment. She doesn’t have to, she’s just telling something they both know. She pulls her hand back, retracts her greeting. Leaves the sword not teetering in her hand or secured neatly on her lap, but places it on the floor next to her. She leaves room for something else.
“Yeah, I know,” she hears. Then there’s more noise, more sounds of Midari moving. Her knees press against hardwood as Yuriko digs her hand into it.
Midari doesn’t shake when they have their hands on each other. If anything, it’s the only part of her life that she’s completely certain about. Palms on loose fabric, fingers around Yuriko’s shoulders. It’s a nice feeling. It’s a less destructive way to say hello, which is ridiculous coming from Midari.
Hello, how are you- You were gone, I couldn’t find you- I couldn’t sleep- You can never sleep. It’s all part of a conversation they don’t need to say out loud. Midari squeezes her, rests her chin on the top of Yuriko’s shoulder. She holds her with ease.
She presses a kiss against her cheek, then another at the corner of her lips. It tastes of Chamomile, tastes like everything that Yuriko holds dear. As she leans in more, she searches through her memories. Winter, winter, winter, she thinks. That’s when we met, wasn't it?
if you’re in any of these communities please dm me i’m lonely and bored
Yuriko: I can’t believe we’re stuck in this room together
Midari, swallowing the key: truly unfortunate
