Story idea!

Yuu comes to twisted wonderland sometime during the past when they’re 6 or 7 and by some circumstance manages to get a hold of Malleus’ egg and hatches them. Unable to get home, Yuu raises baby Malleus for twenty years acting as his mommy / daddy despite there only being 7 years between them. While trying to survive doing odd jobs, Lilia stumbles across both. Lilia reveals Malleus’ identity and wants to take him back to Briar Valley but like hell Malleus is leaving Yuu. Eventually the two are convinced to go but during the journey Lilia and Yuu start to fall for one another. Something Malleus isn’t happy about as he’s super protective of his parental figure.

Out of curiosity, how would a relationship between Lilia and Yuu play out?

Hmm! Well, Yuu would be more puppy-like, as Lilia, unlike Silver, would recognize that Yuu’s interested in him and would humor him from the start. Plus, no one would be cockblocking him as much (at least not on purpose). This helps him to not be as—forward as he is with Silver. The issue would be that Lilia wouldn’t take his advances seriously at first, seeing it as puppy love Yuu will get over. In the meantime, Lilia’s just playing with him. This is actually pretty cruel as Yuu would be as honest as he could be, yet Lilia’s treating him like a puppy or a kid (not that he realizes it). It’s not until Ace calls him out on this that Lilia begins to rethink this and starts to look at Yuu in a serious light, which throws him off completely. He gets to see how serious Yuu is when the latter takes a hit defending him. Seeing the boy hurt because of him, Lilia would become extremely upset, and his anger born of worry would make him confront his own feelings as he realizes, “shit, I like this madman.” From then on he would try to distance himself as the last time Lilia was in love it didn’t end well. All the mixed messages from Lilia would mess with Yuu, however, and not in a good way, as his mental state is fragile in regard to emotions.

All that aside, they would be a fun ship causing havoc and mayhem, as Lilia would like seeing how far Yuu can go with his stuff. (Something he regrets at times.) Lilia would also be constantly amused by Yuu's whacky schemes.
