Hello! Could you do silverflint and 3, 7, 25, 29 and 30?
Sure thing! :D
3. Most common argument?
Flint does this thing where he doesn’t tell Silver when his plans are dumb and Silver gets SO ANNOYED because HOW WILL HE EVER LEARN IF FLINT DOESN’T TELL HIM WHEN HE’S NOT DOING SOMETHING RIGHT, but Flint wants to see him learn for himself (the crew doesn’t need another Flint around, they need Silver, and a big part of that is his unique thought process). Also maaaaybe Flint thinks its cute when Silver gets annoyed at him.
7. What’s the first thing that changes when they realize they have feelings for the other?
Lots of fucking Hmmm, well, I think there’s a level of awkwardness that kind of descends on them at first. Both of them aren’t so sure how to navigate this thing, or even what this thing even is between them. Are they friends with benefits? Boyfriends? How does this impact their role on the ship? Should they avoid all contact on the deck now? Do they tell the crew? Until they talk it out, things might be weird.
25. Who needs more assurance?
Flint, for sure. I think a part of him thinks he doesn’t deserve to be happy, and he needs Silver to remind him that that isn’t true and that he shouldn’t doubt his feelings just because he’s scared of what could happen if he allows himself to feel love again.
29. one headcanon about this OTP that breaks your heart
After everything, Silver is going to have to be the one to end Captain Flint
30. one headcanon about this OTP that mends it
James is going to survive because Silver spares him, killing the legend of Flint and letting James go free. James sets up a house inland somewhere and, once Nassau no longer needs Long John Silver, John finds him and they live happily ever after and James doesn’t die alone of alcoholism :)
