♡ description; sweatshirts are meant to keep you warm, and comfortable. it hits different when said sweatshirt belongs to your girlfriend.
♡ notes; hi anon!! i hope you’re thrilled to know that this is my first request! i hope i did you justice with this <3 enjoy!
sooyoung did tell you that she was going to stay at the studio late tonight, but that didn’t mean you were going to miss her any less. in fact, it probably made you miss her more knowing that she wouldn’t be coming home straight away. you were sat in the middle of the floor of your shared bedroom, staring at your computer. you had been working on one assignment for what felt like hours, trying to keep yourself distracted, and be productive, until your girlfriend came home. the air vents were opened, and being on the floor didn’t give you mercy. the cold air blowing through the vents sent a shiver throughout your body before you finally got up, wandering to the closet and aimlessly pushing around the sweaters and hoodies that were hanging. a burgundy one caught your eye, specifically because you knew it was sooyoung’s. you had caught her curled up with your stuffed animal after a late study session with chaewon and yerim, the tv lights dancing on her face while she slept on the couch peacefully.
it wouldn’t hurt to wear it, would it? maybe it’d bring some sort of comfort to you while you worked for a bit. slipping it over your head, you closed the closet door with your foot and a sense of warmth and protection washed over you instantly, it felt like sooyoung herself was there, hugging you from behind. a small smile hit your face as you pushed your arms through the sleeves, sitting down in front of your computer with a newfound energy to crank everything out.
it felt like minutes had passed before hearing the front door click and a pair of shoes stepping on the hardwood floor, signaling that sooyoung was home. a grin appeared on your face as you finished up the sentence you were in the middle of writing, shutting your laptop and standing up. you stretched for a second before wandering out into the main area with a grin. “welcome home,” you greeted your girlfriend, arms outstretched for a hug.
“not yet baby, i’m sweaty,” sooyoung answered, slipping her shoes off by the door and hanging her jacket up on the coatrack. she turned to look at you with a grin before a curious glint hit her eyes. “is that my sweatshirt?” you furrowed your eyebrows before looking down, completely forgetting you had put it on as a form of motivation earlier.
“oh, yeah. it is, i wore it while i was working on the essay,” you responded quietly, messing with the hem of it. “if you don’t like me wearing your things, i won’t-”
“y/n, chill. it’s okay,” sooyoung interrupted, nearing you and running a hand through your hair. “i think you look good in it. if it helps you focus wearing my clothes, then have at it, okay?” you looked up and locked eyes with hers, which were undoubtedly filled with love and adoration. you smiled a bit with a nod, leaning into her touch before her voice rang out again. “i’m going to go shower now. we can chill while you write your essay when i get out, alright?” you nodded again, sighing at the loss of touch when sooyoung took her hand away.
“besides, y/n. i wore your sweatshirt last night.”
♡ description; christmas time with your girlfriend was always full of surprises, she never failed to put a smile on your face with her antics
♡ notes; i’ve been simping pretty hard for sooyoung lately so i wouldn’t be surprised if i put out a bunch of content for her. i hope you enjoy!
you knew sooyoung was bound to put something silly together for the holidays, but what you didn’t expect was for her to show up at your apartment in a ‘frosty the snowman’ suit with a box of brownies and a goofy grin. “merry christmas!” she greeted cheerfully, leaning forward to press a gentle kiss on your forehead. you mirrored her smile, tilting your head to the side.
“merry christmas baby. can i ask why you’re wearing that snowman suit?” you questioned, taking the box of treats from your girlfriend’s hands and allowing her to slide her shoes off.
“i wore it in hopes of making you smile a little bit, and it seems that’s worked,” she responded, unzipping the suit and revealing a sparkly red sweater underneath. you hummed as a reply before setting the box down on the table, jerking your head towards the living room.
“well, i have a christmas movie marathon set up, i can make some hot chocolate and we just binge watch and eat?” you suggested, shrugging your shoulders with a small smile. “unless you had something else in mind.” sooyoung pressed her lips together before sticking her arms out, pouting softly.
“can’t i just hug you first?” she half-whined, gently stomping her foot. your eyebrows raised before nodding, walking into her grasp with a soft sigh, holding onto her tightly. “i missed you, y/n,” she murmured softly, bringing a hand up to gently play with your hair. you relaxed at the small gesture, leaning into her touch gently.
“i missed you too,” you whispered softly, tensing up when you felt her other hand running along your side. she pulled away quick, concern visible in her eyes.
“are you okay? did i do something wrong?” you frowned and shook your head, a shy smile crossing your face.
“no, you’re fine. i’m ticklish there,” you answered, pressing a soft kiss to sooyoung’s cheeks. her eyes softened before a grin crossed her face.
“are you ticklish here?” she asked before gently tickling underneath your rib cage, resulting in you squirming around and fighting giggles. “what about here?” she continued, tickling your other side while laughing along with you. you squeaked and gasped for air, pushing her hands away.
“okay, okay! i can’t take it anymore!” you squealed, face flushed a bright red. “you’re gonna use that to your advantage now, aren’t you?” you mumbled, meeting sooyoung’s eyes with a bright smile. she shrugged before reaching into her sweater pocket, pulling out a mistletoe.
“who knows? i just know i’ve got you wrapped around my finger,” she answered, holding it above your heads. you looked up at it with a grin before moving your gaze back to your girlfriend’s eyes.
“i wouldn’t want it any other way,” you responded, pressing your lips against hers carefully, enjoying the fact that they tasted like peppermint and chocolates swirled into one. she pulled away slowly after some moments, eyes sparkling. you gently poked her cheek, grabbing the box of brownies you had sat on the table beforehand. “now, what do you say to that movie marathon?”
