“Haseul~” you sung, skipping toward your shared room to find the singer flopped on the bed, “woah what happened to you?” You questioned. Your girlfriend rolled off her stomach and laid onto her back, “nothing just exhausted from busting a leg at practice today.” She nonchalantly replied, you simply let out a small giggle.
“I was wondering if you wanted to go outside on a date but crashing in bed works too” you smiled, jumping on top of her, “ow y/n a warning of you doing that would’ve been nice” she whined, wrapping her arms around your torso securely.
“Is a warning really necessary?” You asked causing a nod from the girl under you. You ran your fingers through her hair comfortably, “whatever, anyways wanna tell me what you did at practice that caused you to be dead on the bed?”
She sighed, “well we barely got a break the whole time we practiced then Jiwoo dragged us to the mall, I was gonna get you a bracelet only but because you and Yeojin have a strange addiction toward collecting stuffed animals she urged me to get the same one she was getting for you.”
You laughed sitting up, “it is not a strange addition! now what animal is it?”
“A frog, so you could not only think of Haseul unnie but me as well.” She mimicked Yeojin’s words from the mall several hours ago.
You looked skeins and saw a blue bag near the dresser that suddenly caught your eye, how did you not notice it?
Getting off of your girlfriend you picked the bag off the dresser and smiled at the frog, picking it off the bag along with the bracelet she had brought for you. “Aw babe this is cute, thank you” you blushed wrapping it around your wrist, “gonna wear it like my life depends on it.”
Haseul chuckled at your response, “you don’t have to wear it like that.”
You smiled, setting the frog near the collection of stuffed animals you had, not without noticing a sweatshirt sprawled out on the floor from your girlfriend coming back home an hour ago. “Haseul I’m surprised you threw your sweatshirt on the floor, usually your all about cleaning up after yourself.” You picked the sweatshirt off the floor.
“Must’ve been really tired huh?” You slipped the sweater through your wrists with a huge smile plastered on your face, looking at the mirror, “it’s cute.”
“It is, but it’s not yours” Haseul grinned, “you didn’t even ask if you could wear it.”
You hugged yourself, "well, can I wear your sweater? It smells like you, I can't promise to give it back though."
You watched Haseul fall back into the mattress, “there goes my next sweater.” “Hey!” You frowned, crashing onto the bed again, “your acting like I hold your sweaters hostage or something.”
“That’s because you do darling” she said caressing your cheek with her thumb lovingly, “you steal every sweater of mine that you see.”
“Someone else’s sweater is more comfortable than wearing your own, especially if it’s your girlfriends.” You protested.

“Could you be any slower?”
You snickered as you passed Hyejoo with ease while she was huffing and puffing like an old locomotive. This was already the second time that you had passed her ever since you had started running up and down the soccer field to warm up for your practice and Hyejoo was starting to feel a lump forming in her throat. How was she ever supposed to compete with you? You could run faster and longer than her, you scored way more goals and with your beaming smile you would be able to charm every recruiter that colleges would send in no time. Why would they ever look at her if you were standing right next to her?
Frustrated, Hyejoo stopped before leaning over and resting her elbows on her thighs to catch her breath. There was no use in trying to catch up with you anyways.
“What do you think you are doing?”
Her coach yelled across the field, but Hyejoo decided to ignore her deathly glare and just tiredly waved at her.
“I’m not feeling so well, coach. I think I need to sit this one out.”
She tried raising her voice so her coach could hear her, but she sounded more like a neglected, croaking chainsaw. Without paying attention to her coach, who probably wasn’t too delighted to lose one of her strikers just one week before the state championship game, Hyejoo slowly dragged her feet to the locker rooms where she plopped down on her designated seat on the bench before burying her face in her hands.
There was just nothing that she could do right.
Her grades had dropped drastically in the past weeks because she was stressing over getting a soccer scholarship. But at the same time, she couldn’t fully focus on the game either, because it was so much more likely that you would get the scholarship and without good grades she didn’t even have a fallback. She felt like she was stuck in a deadlock, which didn’t really help her performance either as she barely slept and ate lately.
“Dang it.”
She mumbled under her breath while hot tears met her hands that were still firmly pressed against her face. She wished that she could run away, but as she had just proven, she wasn’t really good at that either.
“I would be ashamed too if I were running that slow.”
A familiar giggle suddenly echoed through the room, causing Hyejoo to snap up her head. You were standing in the door of the locker room, looking at her with a sly smile plastered on your face. The second you noticed her tear-stained cheeks, however, your expression changed in an instant. Hyejoo tried to quickly get rid of the tears with the back of her hand, but it was already too late. You had stumbled forward and were now crouching right in front of her.
“What’s wrong?”
You asked with your face all scrunched up in concern and for a second, Hyejoo simply stared at you with her breath stuck in her throat. She couldn’t remember ever having been this close to you, except when you were battling for the ball on the field. She couldn’t even remember ever really having talked with you aside from your habitual banters and provocations.
“I...um...nothing.”
She stuttered, still being too busy studying your perfect facial features to come up with a convincing lie.
“Sure, pathetically crying in a locker room all by myself is one of my favorite things to do as well.”
You retorted sarcastically while looking at her with one brow raised, managing to finally snap Hyejoo out of her trance. Was she really admiring you right now? The source of all her problems?
“What the hell is your problem.”
She quickly hissed through her teeth before trying to jump to her feet in order to get away from you. The same moment that her body lifted off the bench though, you grabbed her by the waist to push her back down. With a thud, Hyejoo landed on her butt, leaving her completely dumbfounded once more.
“My problem is that my teammate is crying, so I would like to know why.”
You explained hypocritically as if you hadn’t teased and martyred her the past months. An irrational anger started to bubble inside of Hyejoo, making her sit up straighter in order to tower you. Who did you think you were? You weren’t her friend. You had no right to demand anything from her.
“Can you get off my back for a second? Why are you all up in my business?”
She spat out, managing to catch you off guard this time. You probably weren’t used to being talked to like that and Hyejoo could see how a range of emotions flickered past your eyes.
“All up in your business?” You chuckled eventually, opting to not let her provocations get the better of you while not backing down either. “I think you can hardly call it that. We’re part of the same team, so if you have an issue that tempers with your performance for our team, that makes it my business too.”
Your argument made sense, but that made Hyejoo even angrier. Of course, you were smarter than her too.
“Excuse me, you’re absolutely right. Please teach me your way, your highness.”
She rolled her eyes, not even trying to be as diplomatic as you.
“I will just ignore your sarcasm for now.”
Although you were flashing her a smile, Hyejoo could see that you were tensed up now, visibly fighting not to stoop to her level.
“I truly could help you though if you struggle to keep up with practice. I’ve got a few good workouts to build up stamina, or we could stay after practice and work on your accuracy.”
You proposed, once more trying to keep the peace. Without knowing, your words accomplished exactly the opposite though. Hyejoo felt how they punched through a wall inside of her that had held back all her pent-up frustration and anger of the last months and it suddenly came rushing down on her all at once.
“Help me? Why would you help me? Out of pity? Because I’m just the eternal second-best in the team that could never live up to your greatness?”
She didn’t even want to say all of this, but somehow you had opened some gates inside of her that were too heavy to close again, making all of the words that she had held back for so long spill.
“I know you probably think I’m a fool, but I’m not. I know that you’re just trying to get into my head, just like you did with all of your stupid little comments the past months. But you can’t get to me! I won’t just hand you that scholarship on a silver platter!”
The words just kept tumbling from her lips and with every second she talked herself more into rage. All the pressure that had weighted down on her wanted to escape at once, making her thoughts a jumbled mess. By now, you were just a blurry silhouette in front of her as angry tears kept pooling in her eyes, so Hyejoo didn’t even realize when you suddenly leaned forward. She only fell quiet when your face broke through the veil of tears the moment your lips met hers. At a blow, all her anger was gone, and she was left nothing but dumbfounded. Before her body could react in any way, you removed yourself from her as quickly as you had attached your lips to hers, but that didn’t take away the force of the effect that this little stunt had on her.
“Shut up for a second, will you?”
You stated calmly once you had leaned back again and Hyejoo obediently followed your order, being too stunned to form a single thought. For a moment, it was dead silent in the locker room, making the tension between the two of you almost unbearable until you eventually chuckled lightly.
“Wow that worked better than I had expected.”
You joked, but Hyejoo was still too dumbfounded to react in any way, so you piped up again.
“Listen, I’m sorry if I have pressured you in any way in the past months. I honestly thought it was just playful banter between the two of us. I would never seriously bully you because...well I like you way too much for that.”
Although Hyejoo hadn’t thought it was possible, you managed to catch her even more off guard.
“You like me??”
Hyejoo croaked, causing you to sheepishly smile to yourself.
“Yes, stupid. And if you would have stopped being paranoid for a second and didn’t only view me as your enemy, you could have noticed that a lot earlier.”
You giggled, leaving Hyejoo even more perplexed.
“You like me??”
She repeated her question and this time your giggle turned into a wholehearted laugh.
“I knew that you weren’t the fastest, but man, I didn’t think it concerned your brain too.”
You smirked and reflexively Hyejoo shoved you, causing you to tumble backwards and plop down on your butt. Dumbfounded, you looked at her for a moment, but then you erupted into loud laughter. Hyejoo didn’t know whether it was the pressure that was finally gone or the aftermath of your confession, but suddenly everything about you seemed different. She noticed your beauty without only thinking about how that would enhance your chances with the recruiters from college. For the first time she realized how kind your face actually looked as you were doubled up with amusement. And suddenly your laughter was not only a bitter reminder of how easy everything came to you, but truly contagious.
Maybe she had only been paranoid.
“I’m-I’m sorry.”
She stuttered, not really knowing what she was apologizing for.
“Don’t worry about it. Maybe I did let myself get a little carried away by your competitiveness too.”
You shrugged before pulling yourself to your feet and brushing off the dirt from your shorts.
“How about we start this whole thing over again?”
You proposed while holding out your hand to her. Without hesitation, Hyejoo took a hold of it and shook it firmly, ignoring the fact that the two of you were being way too cheesy for her taste right now.
“I’d like that.”
She mumbled sheepishly, causing a wide grin to form on your face which made her heart flutter in her chest.
When Another Member Teases About Your Age Difference ~ Loona YYXY Reaction
Yves:
Your eyes glanced back as Sooyoung stood back away from you as Jungeun walked into the kitchen to find you both busying yourselves.
“Hello,” Sooyoung shyly smiled, with you doing the same beside her. “Don’t mind the two of us, we’re just getting some lunch.”
“No, don’t mind me,” Jungeun quickly corrected, “I don’t want to get in the way of young, and slightly younger, loves dream hanging around in here.”
A shake of the head came from Sooyoung, “you couldn’t stop yourself, could you?”
Jungeun shook her head too as she looked between you both, “sorry, but you’re too adorable so there’s not much else that we can tease you guys about.”
“Why do you even have to tease us?” Sooyoung chuckled, “what have we ever done to make you guys want to tease us?”
“You’ve dated,” Jungeun simply stated, “and if we don’t get to tease you guys, people might think we’re jealous instead.”
“Of course, because you guys definitely aren’t jealous.”
Chuu:
You smiled across at Jinsol as she joked about the two of you, feeling Jiwoo’s hand quickly slip into yours though as Jinsol went silent.
“You’re just jealous,” Jiwoo quickly warned her, “just ignore her Y/N, she wishes that she had a partner rather than being single.
“I’m not jealous,” Jinsol laughed, “I’m just saying that there’s something cute about the fact that your age difference is small, yet the two of you are so different.”
Jiwoo’s eyes rolled at Jinsol’s remark, “just because I’ve not heard of a programme.”
Jinsol nodded, meeting your eyes as you both shook your heads at how defensive Jiwoo was. “She’s not saying anything bad,” you tried to tell Jiwoo.
“Sorry,” Jiwoo whispered back to Jinsol, “I’m just used to the fans usually being a bit mean and think everyone else is too.”
“I’m not a fan, I’m a friend,” Jinsol reminded her, “not everyone is against your relationship, I love you guys together.”
“You’re right, it’s just hard to get used to.”
Go Won:
You bit down on your bottom lip as Chaewon purposely ignored Yerim as she teased about the slight age difference between you both.
“She did hear me, didn’t she Y/N?” Yerim asked you, with your head nodding in reply, knowing exactly what Chaewon was doing.
“I think she’s acting,” you agreed, keeping your eyes firmly on Chaewon, knowing that it wouldn’t take long for her to break and pay attention to you both.
A chuckle came from Yerim, “maybe she’ll just think that I’m not here.”
A slight nod of the head came from Chaewon, “it would be easier if you weren’t here if all you’re going to do is tease me and try and embarrass me.”
“I’m not embarrassing you,” Yerim sniggered, “Y/N’s laughing with me, she knows just how funny I am at least.”
“You’re not funny,” Chaewon told Yerim. “You’re just annoying, what are you even doing here anyway disturbing us?”
“You’re doing a good job of not being bothered Chae.”
Olivia Hye:
You didn’t quite know what to say as Hyunjin passed comment on the age difference between you both, but luckily for you, Hyejoo did.
“What does it matter?” She quizzed straight away, shuffling even closer towards you where you were both sat on one of the sofas.
“It doesn’t matter, I think it’s cute,” Hyunjin defended as Hyejoo poked her tongue out across at her to try her best to shut her up. “What’s that face for anyway?”
Hyejoo’s head shook, “stop teasing me, I’m not even doing anything wrong now.”
A chuckle came from Hyunjin as she looked between the two of you, “I’m not teasing you, what’s wrong with saying how sweet you both are together?”
“And the fact that Y/N’s older,” Hyejoo added, “I know that you guys seem to like that part about our relationship the most.”
“I just think it’s adorable, especially when you get all cuddly around Y/N too,” Hyunjin added, “you guys should never change.”
One time, Heejin invited Hyunjin to join an online meeting together with her crush, Y/N. The two, Heejin and Y/N, are originally planning their group project but Heejin wants to tease Hyunjin a little bit.
"What should we listen to?" The puppy-looking girl asked when they agreed to listen to some music. "Softly by Clairo." Hyunjin suggests that her best friend replies with the "national hymn of the gaes.". Y/n laughs at Heejin's remark. While on the other hand, Hyunjin wants to smack her best friend.
The song ended and it auto-played 'Sofia' also by Clairo.
"Next song, please. That song is bad." Hyunjin blurted out.
"Do you think it is bad?" Her crush asked her about the song. She honestly doesn't know to reply, hence, she gathered her thoughts.
"Ahh... well. It's not that bad but I prefer 'Softly' than 'Sofia'. I like it better." Hyunjin said. Her voice is slightly shaky.
"Ohh, I see. I actually listen to Sofia every time." Y/N shared with them. Heejin chuckled when she heard nothing from Hyunjin's mic.
After a few seconds, a small "Okay." left Hyunjin's lips.
Feeling a little bit embarrassed.
But she is Hyunjin, so she doesn't accept defeat. "Softly is much better," she thought.
After that night, Hyunjin listens to Sofia and then to Softly nonstop. She will play these whenever she has spare time to listen to a song. She plays them alternately to compare one another.
Heejin knows this because of Hyunjin's activity on Spotify. She listens to it all day and all night.
Hyunjin didn't stop there. She asks everyone in their circle of friends which song is better. She even asked her mother about it too.
This girl is pretty-funny and crazy in terms of these things. She didn't even notice that she was lowkey-loving 'Sofia'.
Heejin and her best friend are in her room. The latter is still busy comparing the two songs. Suddenly, Heejin remembered the time Hyunjin searched for the lyrics of 'Sofia'.
"I think the lyrics are much gayer than Softly. But still, Softly the best." Heejin laughed and shook her head.
Hey, so I’ve never really written short drabbles before and I really wanted to practice so I decided to try a challenge I saw on ao3. Play your favorite playlist on shuffle and for every song that starts, you have the time from when it starts to when it finishes to write a short drabble inspired by the song. Do this with 5 songs. I decided to give it a try so here are the 5 drabbles. Hope you enjoy :) and remember they were all written in minutes so they might not be any good. The title is the name of the song which inspired it.
♡ description; christmas time with your girlfriend was always full of surprises, she never failed to put a smile on your face with her antics
♡ notes; i’ve been simping pretty hard for sooyoung lately so i wouldn’t be surprised if i put out a bunch of content for her. i hope you enjoy!
you knew sooyoung was bound to put something silly together for the holidays, but what you didn’t expect was for her to show up at your apartment in a ‘frosty the snowman’ suit with a box of brownies and a goofy grin. “merry christmas!” she greeted cheerfully, leaning forward to press a gentle kiss on your forehead. you mirrored her smile, tilting your head to the side.
“merry christmas baby. can i ask why you’re wearing that snowman suit?” you questioned, taking the box of treats from your girlfriend’s hands and allowing her to slide her shoes off.
“i wore it in hopes of making you smile a little bit, and it seems that’s worked,” she responded, unzipping the suit and revealing a sparkly red sweater underneath. you hummed as a reply before setting the box down on the table, jerking your head towards the living room.
“well, i have a christmas movie marathon set up, i can make some hot chocolate and we just binge watch and eat?” you suggested, shrugging your shoulders with a small smile. “unless you had something else in mind.” sooyoung pressed her lips together before sticking her arms out, pouting softly.
“can’t i just hug you first?” she half-whined, gently stomping her foot. your eyebrows raised before nodding, walking into her grasp with a soft sigh, holding onto her tightly. “i missed you, y/n,” she murmured softly, bringing a hand up to gently play with your hair. you relaxed at the small gesture, leaning into her touch gently.
“i missed you too,” you whispered softly, tensing up when you felt her other hand running along your side. she pulled away quick, concern visible in her eyes.
“are you okay? did i do something wrong?” you frowned and shook your head, a shy smile crossing your face.
“no, you’re fine. i’m ticklish there,” you answered, pressing a soft kiss to sooyoung’s cheeks. her eyes softened before a grin crossed her face.
“are you ticklish here?” she asked before gently tickling underneath your rib cage, resulting in you squirming around and fighting giggles. “what about here?” she continued, tickling your other side while laughing along with you. you squeaked and gasped for air, pushing her hands away.
“okay, okay! i can’t take it anymore!” you squealed, face flushed a bright red. “you’re gonna use that to your advantage now, aren’t you?” you mumbled, meeting sooyoung’s eyes with a bright smile. she shrugged before reaching into her sweater pocket, pulling out a mistletoe.
“who knows? i just know i’ve got you wrapped around my finger,” she answered, holding it above your heads. you looked up at it with a grin before moving your gaze back to your girlfriend’s eyes.
“i wouldn’t want it any other way,” you responded, pressing your lips against hers carefully, enjoying the fact that they tasted like peppermint and chocolates swirled into one. she pulled away slowly after some moments, eyes sparkling. you gently poked her cheek, grabbing the box of brownies you had sat on the table beforehand. “now, what do you say to that movie marathon?”
