Oh Yvette.... the thing I really love about her and her desire to bury the dead is that... it's not some solemn duty or job she's been tasked with. It's not something anyone has ordered, asked, or even suggested she do.

It just. Feels right to her. She's decided this is what's important to her and by the gods she's going to do it for as long as she's able.

I feel like she's the kind of person who'd attract the attention of death gods and guardian deities and whatnot... but she'd never quite reach the point of serving one. Because

1) just from a writing standpoint, I really love what it says about her character that this is a mission she's given herself with no external input, and

2) I also love the idea of a gentle god looking at this little woman doing what she can and being like "y'know what? She doesn't need to be entrenched in a more complicated world. She has my blessing and my favor but I'm not going to interfere"

but wherever Yvette learned that practice (maybe from a divine dream or something idk) she has decided that she will bury as many bodies as she personally can. It will hardly be a dent. But those individuals matter.

What is Yvettes favorite food?

Saltwater taffy! She could eat them by the barrel full! She also likes mints and mint chocolate ice cream. (Never take her to a restaurant with free mints, she might pocket a bunch)

How would she react to gossip of herself? Are there any blood colors she doesn't like?

She would likely start tearing up and get incredibly anxiety and stressed out. She has a place near her hive she hides out just in case she needs to calm down or wait until things cool off. If she felt her life was in danger she would disappear asap.As for blood colours, she likes them all aesthetically! She especially likes warm colours like gold. She's fearful of highbloods just because she knows from her lusus that they would likely cull her if they found her out.

What is Yvette's biggest fear? Her favorite traits in a person? How does she perform when under stress?

Yvette’s biggest fear right now is someone getting hurt due to her abilities. Or being outted as a ‘mutant’ or off-spectrum. (She hasn’t had any interactions with others as of yet so only time will tell)

She prefers people who are really relaxed or off-beat. She can have trouble keeping her own thoughts straight sometimes. People who are forgiving of her forgetfulness or distractedness too. Basically, anyone willing to take their time to befriend her.

Yvette usually panics and does...stupid things. Often her mind goes faster than she can process and she says stuff she doesn’t mean. She blows things out of proportion.

About Yvette’s Powers:

Her powers allow her to, essentially, turn back time on any give thing. In order to prevent the time from restarting on the actual object or individual, the time/incident itself takes on a crystalized form, the colour of which varies from person to person. The larger the crystal, the more time was stolen.

There are two major drawbacks to using her power. First, any sentient being that has time removed will have all instance of that event removed, including any and all memories attached to it (third party memories are not removed, only the memories of the individual undergoing the time thievery). 

Secondly, it drains her physically. Her body tends to compensate for this a lot, and her lifespan (that of a tyrian) makes it easier to manage. She cannot, however, undo death. Depending on how much time is stolen to repair a person could take sweeps off of her own lifespan (she isn’t immortal).

She could, theoretically, reset someone’s lifespan to half but see the points above (it’s risky business).

Finally, her crystalized time capsules are not 100% indestructible. Crushing the stones would result in the time being inflicted upon the object that damaged it. 

For example: were a rock to crush a small crystal revolving around a wound, the rock would be damaged x2 the force of the original impact because said time would explode RAPIDLY out of stasis and the weight of the impact would double as a result (theoretically, the longer the memories are held within the crystals, the more deadly they become).

Henceforth, these crystals can be EXTREMELY deadly.
