📛 - Hand my muse a bottle of water after noticing how red they are
Dingo had pushed himself to the limit. Despite the scorching heat, he had decided to go training with his Pokémon, and now found himself regretting it dearly.
On his way back to the malasada restaurant, the boy had crashed on a bench, overcome by exhaustion. He was having trouble catching his breath, and his throat felt like sandpaper. He wished a can of fresh lemonade could come falling from the cloudless sky …
Instead of lemonade, Dingo noticed a bottle of water entering his field of vision. He saw a blurry face looking down at him, and didn’t recognize it immediately. He only took the water from the other’s hands, and gulped down half its content in one go.

Unusual questions for your muse
🔖- Is your muse a daydreamer? What do they tend to think about? Have they ever caught themselves while lost in thought?
[[Toma is very much one! If he’s forced to sit somewhere and stay quiet for a while, his mind will immediately wander off. He’ll imagine himself meeting new Pokémon, taking care of his team, he’ll keep weighing the pros and cons of each career path he could take… He’s a very imaginative kid ^^
He doesn’t often notice that his thoughts have drifted off, though. He’s so focused on his thoughts, someone else needs to drag him away from them, if they want to get a response.
On the other hand, Dingo rarely lets himself dream too much. He’s a man of action (or so he likes to think he is), and would rather spend his free time doing something useful (like training, notably). He’s a lot more down-to-earth than his brother ^^]]

Character Development Questions: Hard Mode
20 - In what ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation, or self-criticism?
[[Dingo does it for self-criticism above anything. He tends to compare himself to the stronger trainers he encounters, and in the event of a defeat, he will not give himself or his team a break until he can reach a greater level of power, and beat that opponent.
Dingo is extremely hard on himself, and never forgives himself if he shows signs of weakness. He takes his role as a big brother extremely seriously, and wants to show Toma nothing but good examples. Which is why he’ll feel extremely mad at himself if another trainer exposes all his weaknesses, and makes it blatant that he isn’t as strong as he wishes to be.
On the contary, Toma will compare himself to others in order to reassure himself. The prime example is when he meets an older person who still isn’t 100% sure about their future - it reassures him a lot, and reminds him that it’s okay to hesitate about which path he should take in life.]]
32 - Describe a scenario in which your character feels most uncomfortable.
[[In Dingo’s case, it would be a situation where he is in a crowded place without anyone familiar by his side. Even his hood no longer offer him enough protection against the outside world, he gets tossed around by all the taller people, he can’t breathe properly.
Toma feels highly uncomfortable when he’s completely alone, and in the dark. Dingo’s absence alone is usually enough to make him feel uncomfortable (much to his own dismay), but if his Pokémon aren’t there either, he’ll be prone to panicking at the smallest inconvenience.]]

halloween/fall rp prompts!
send ☔ to get caught in the rain with my muse
When rainclouds gathered in the Alolan sky, people knew better than to stay outside. Once the clouds split open, rain came pouring, leaving no chance of escape for the people who stood under the storm.
Dingo had unfortunately been caught in the rainstorm. On his way back from a delivery, he hadn’t been able to run back before the rain came falling. He took refuge at the entrance of a building, in the very small space between the door and the threshold.
While he waited for the rain to calm down, Dingo spotted a familiar figure just a few meters away, probably seeking shelter from the rain as well. “Mitsuki !” He called, gesturing for the Champion to join him. There was just enough room for two people.

8: The mun’s favorite fictional character.
[[That’d have to be my two boys right here x) They don’t really count as OCs since they’re just Pokémon!AU adaptations of two canon characters … I apologize for the confusion it might cause when people first stumble onto this blog :S
Dingo is pretty much the same as his original self, and Toma is inspired from Dingo’s NetNavi, Tomahawkman.EXE. These two definitely share the first spot on top of my favorite fictional character list ^^” They’re the only characters I love enough to have no one, but two RP blogs dedicated to them x) ]]

Character Creation Questions for the Muse!
20- How do they handle being alone?
[[Dingo doesn’t mind it. Sometimes he even seeks a bit of alone time, because he gets overwhelmed if he stays around the crowd for too long. Whether he’s working at the shop or doing deliveries, he always has to blend in amongst all the tourists, and it drains his energy out. He needs some quiet time alone in his bedroom after that, but he does tolerate his brother’s and their Pokémon’s presence in those moments.
He’s not afraid of being sent on errands alone in the city, or of wandering the jungle on his own. Even if he feels threatens, he’ll usually try to deal with any situation on his own, before he calls his Pokémon out for help.
Toma, on the contrary, has a very hard time dealing with being alone. He’ll always try to have at least his Taillow and Rowlet by his side, and he only feels fully safe if Dingo is around. If he stays alone for too long, he gets very melancholic and vulnerable. He’s a social creature - he takes energy from being around other people or Pokémon. Too much loneliness would eat him alive.]]
