ℱrail fingers curled through the blond locks, tugging at them lightly as the boy sat curled up on the bed. The room was dark, but Zelo could see it. Empty eyes flickered over to the figure in the corner of the room- tall and humanoid, it was nothing but darkness.
“Ah.. You’re back..” The male slowly unfolded himself and climbed out of the bed, shuffling towards the looming figure, “You were gone for so long, I was a little worried..” The figure didn’t reply- in fact, it never spoke, it simply stood before the male and gazed down at the blond.
When had he started to see it? How long had it been around before he noticed? It was scary at first, but after a while Zelo began to expect the darkness and even welcomed it. Whenever he was alone, the shadow was always there, protecting him, accompanying him. No one else could see it, which made Zelo a little sad, but he was glad this was something just for him and him alone. The boy reached out and took the shadow’s hand, smiling a little to himself. Cold, as usual.
“So.. What did you do this time?”
