some stuff from 2024 I never finished. 2024 was a busy year for me! I moved into my first grown up apaartment, started working full time, and I didn't have a car so I walked everywhere in New Hampshire weather. Didn't leave a lot of free time for drawing unfortunately, but I did try. Here's some unfinished stuff I found in my files

top left: a very silly self-portrait. I think this was part of a larger project, but I don't quite remember what it was

top right: little cat going to the pumpkin patch. This was from September or October. It's cute! Why didn't I finish it?

bottom left: This one is borderline illegible even to me, but it's titled "Robin Hood and Maid Marian." I had just re-watched the 1930s Robin Hood with Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland, and was very enamored with it. Go watch it, it's great

bottom right: a redraw of the cover of The Archandroid by Janelle Monae, one of my all-time favorite albums and an absolute banger of an album cover. I had this plan to draw all of my favorite album covers, but I didn't get very far. I drew Debut by Bjork, then started The Archandroid and then got bored. Maybe I will pick this project back up, but probably not. Sorry, Janelle.

#my art #z0mbievalentine #i had a 1998 corolla that i bought for $1500 at the beginning of the year #i loved it to death but it was nothing but trouble #and in july i was driving home from bedford after getting a drug test done for my new job #and the engine locked up right there on route 101 #some very nice women pulled over helped me push it onto the side of the road #and the aaa guy who came and towed it to manchester wouldn't let me pay him #and then i walked an hour to a bar on elm st and spent my last $5 on a beer #and i sat there reading fire and blood until my boyfriend came and picked me up #and then a few weeks later i moved into a room in a house share and started working full time at a pharmacy. what a weird summer #anyway i have a new corolla now and it hasn't given me a lick of trouble

here's a tree made out of crystals I drew last year! This is part of a larger piece I was commissioned for, idk if the client would want me to post it right now.

completely forgot about this, but here's a shaded version of my Chun-li from a few weeks ago. I've found I like my art better with solid colors only, but I'm kind of surprised I decided against posting this. I think I prefer it to the version that I ended up posting (side by side under the cut).
