zach leaned against the counter in the kitchen already bored and wanted to do something. "so what'd you want to talk about." he saw some candy nearby and grabbed some, popping a few pieces into his mouth. "if it's about moving in with you the answers still no, i moved into a friends place anyway so you can't pull the 'i don't want you to be alone.' card."

zach was chilling on the couch, joint in hand, tv volume blasting higher than it should be and the windows closed essentially just really badly hot boxing his living room. somehow he was able to hear the knock at his door and paused the tv, getting up from the couch with the joint hanging from his lips. as he opened the door and saw it was louis he immediately started waving his arms around to disperse the smoke. "aye! big bro! to what do i owe the pleasure?" zach asked, leaning against the doorway with the door wide open. "i'd offer for you to come in but i think you probably wanna wait a second."

“Nice fangs, you trying to look like edward cullen? You’re pasty enough that you’re almost there.” zach laughed as he sat next to his brother, sporting his usual attire of just some hoodie and jeans instead of some form of costume. “you entering in the pumpkin contest or nah?"

zach had smoked before louis came over this time. with the power back on it was easier to communicate and asked his brother to come over by himself, saying there was something he needed to talk to him about. he hated having any sort of conversation that could possibly get tense hence the pre smoking. “i’m just going to come out and say it,” zach moved from the couch and heading into the kitchen, crossing his arms over his chest for a second before running a hand through his hair, “you need to lay off bri and let her breathe. i get you’re trying to protect her but you’re doing the literal opposite.”

zach took a hit from his joint before opening the door, exhaling it as he did so and watched it blow right into his brothers face. he coughed trying to hold back a chuckle, "my bad." he put it out in the ashtray next to the door but hadn't to let louis in just yet and looked back to him. "i already went shopping if you're trying to come over because i don't take care of myself."
