Not to the best of my knowledge. There were wood frogs in the pond but I saw very few tadpoles this spring and heard no calling.

The pond does contain a bunch of invertebrates - snails, water boatmen, fishing spiders, etc.

Having seen both three subspecies in the wild, I am leaning towards Pituophis catenifer affinis- Sonoran Gopher Snake. Although P. catenifer catenifer and P. c. annectens can be quite vivid in coloration, they pale in comparison to the coloration of affinis. Is the animal locality specific or a "generic" with now locality information of the parental stock?

Generic. He may well be a mutt of two subspecies, which is fine, but I’m constantly getting ‘corrected’ over his ID and I’d like, at least, a “he may be X but he’s definitely not Y or Z.” My thought was: ain’t no way he’s got enough blotches to be annectans, plus no gray on the sides, plus the blotches aren’t connected (though they are rounded) except for the chaining on the neck.

Yup, the Ball Python, as well as the Zebra, are leucistic. Blue eyes and white bodies exhibit Leucism. Furthermore, the mantis is not albino or aberrant in anyway- it is simply a nymph.
