One of the things I really missed when I gave up secular music is indie music. Once in a while I'll get tempted by youtube videos or my housemate Jackie would play some of her music. I'd always have to tear myself away though. I love indie music for it's mellow melodies and the wonderful lyrics that tell wonderful stories but then I realize I loved Jesus more. I remember how I always wished for worship songs in the same melodic style as what I use to listen to and then I came to a point where I just accepted that the likelihood of it was unlikely. This song brings me a lot of joy and makes me fall in love with Jesus so much more! It reminds me that I don't lose anything when I give everything to Jesus! Eventually I receive what I gave up except ten times better and Godlier than what I had. This song makes me so happy because it reminds me of God's hidden presence in my life.
