Repo! Turns 10 - Fan Conversations

Greetings fellow zaddicts! I’m loving reading all your responses to the first fan conversation - about how you discovered Repo!.

I have a few thoughts for the next conversation topics, but I’d also like to hear from you!! Is there something you’ve been dying to talk about with other fans? What it’s like to be in such odd niche fandoms? Favorite characters? Favorite songs? Cosplay? Fanart? Other fan creations? Meeting the actors in person?

It’s soundtrack week!

Sorry it’s been so quiet - lots going on at work and it takes so long to sift through the various Repo! tags (repo, Repo!, repo! the genetic opera, rtgo, etc.) for posts that I haven’t already reblogged. I’m also working on some content of my own but that’ll take time.

So I’m going to try to do themed weeks to help with the tag searching! This week it’s all about the music of Repo!. I’ll make sure to post links to all the main songs, but let’s also get some discussion going!

Which song is your favorite? Who do you feel is the best singer? Lyrics you love? Favorite karaoke choice? A song you wish had been added? Thoughts on the genre of goth/rock/horror opera in general?

Little 11 year old me back in 2008 was on my first website where you could meet and talk to ppl. It was a drawing website which is still up I believe. Anyways I did a group drawing with a bunch of random people and someone titled the female character in the drawing "Shilo" and I thought "wow what a pretty name" so I asked them where they got the inspo for it and they pointed me to repo! So I checked it out and the rest is history.

Spotify reccommended a song from The Devil's Carnival (it was Trust Me) and I loved it and listened to the full soundtrack, then did research on TDC and watched both movies, through that research I found out about Repo! too and watched all three movies in the span of 2 days :)

I discovered Repo when my younger friend introduced me at around 16 to 17 years old. I'm almost 22 now! And I've dragged several people down with me >:3c                    

Lol I have also dragged several people down with me xD I actually bought two DVD copies so I could specifically have one to lend to people who hadn’t seen it yet xD
