Zaeris was used to this - he wasn’t exactly nocturnal, but the monk did enjoy late night strolls along the river in the forest he considered home. The trickling of water was always so calming, like little whispers in the silence of the night, and watching the light of the moon seeping from the balcony of the trees above as they danced on the water was mesmerizing. He couldn’t think of a single reason why living within society would be better than this natural bliss, and he counted himself lucky to be able to enjoy the peace of the world like this.
