So, took a stab at writing Hades fanfic. Idea was originally a simple little Zan/Thag story, basic idea was some mortal pulled a Sisyphus and trapped Than, and several in the Underworld and Overworld were “fuck no, not again!” about it.

...It has turned into a big comedy, as my writings have wont to do recently. This started because the opening scene has Zag and Charon deciding Zag needs to get back to the House NOW to tell his parents and Nyx, so Charon goes to send him back via killing him...them having not realized that if Death isn’t working above, it’s not guaranteed below. Short version, Meg comes out of her boss chamber wondering at the ruckus and Zag’s got an oar through him and he and Charon are baffled as to how that’s a thing. Meg is Not Amused.

Hades then gets the bright idea that since Zag won’t speedily expire on the surface, he’s the best surface agent to send to deal with “looking for Thanatos” which leads to Zag, Artemis, and Hermes in what is thus far the Greek God equivalent of three lost college kids trying to find one’s boyfriend. While exploiting that Zag’s not going to die doing their shenanigans. I may or may not find a reason to throw in Callisto because Artemis makes her sound super-fun in this universe.
