Thoughts on Equius's ancestor design?

it was a very unexpected and extremely pleasant surprise. i didnt know hussie was making beforan ancestor designs until the first batch was already posted.

generally speaking, ive never really "clicked" with any fan beforan ancestor designs, or had any ideas myself that i resonated with. hell, im not even much of a fan of the alternian ancestors to this day. but something about these designs in particular just... make me happy? they make me really happy. i think hussie was able to give them the type of treatment that i subconsciously yearned for, especially with equius and feferi.

i dunno. i think above it all i like getting to see him be an adult and live his life, and that this portrayal of him seems substantially different than the one in homestuck proper. really helps affirm some details i cling onto in my head

every design is incredible imo. and equius is no exception
