Alex Morono stops Zak Ottow in the 1st!
Violenct-weight representative Alex Morono was having none of Ottow’s wrestling. After getting tagged, Ottow shoots into a guillotine. From there Ottow goes to his back to escape but Morono follow gets mounts and starts dropping elbows. Ottow turtles and the ref calls the fight. Morono is going to be limited by his athletic ability but dude is always gonna have a job cause he’s so fun to watch.
Let me get Morono vs Max Griffin or Frank Camacho
Zak Ottow takes SD over Dwight Grant

UFC Boise Results: Sage Northcutt moved back up to welterweight at UFC Boise, looking to finally capture a win at 170lbs against veteran Zak Ottow.
Sergio Moraes takes a fun split decision from Zak Ottow
I can't be too mad at the decision even though I had it 29-28 Ottow. Sergio Moraes is one of those guys you just root for even if you know all of his weaknesses. He's an easy dude to get behind and he can really do some crazy stuff. The first round he was relatively dominant in how he was able to make Ottow fight his fight and dance his dance, especially on the ground. In the second round, Ottow just kept marching ahead and Sergio Moraes was tired. In the third round, Sergio Moraes was exhausted but he managed to hurt Ottow. That was pretty much his big highlight of the round and from there, I felt like Ottow took the round over. Sergio Moraes' slow development as a striker is really intriguing.
This sure is a fight that's happening, huh? It sure is happening.
