Edson Barboza stops Dan Hooker in the 3rd
That fight might have just ruined what’s left of Dan Hooker’s career and quality of life.
Barboza went to town on Hooker’s legs early. Hooker tried to pressure Barboza to slow down the kicks but he was eating counters as he came forward. It’s not that he didn’t find success though. He was landing some nice combos as he was coming forward but he’d stop moving his feet to make Barboza miss. He kind of stands straight up in the air while striking so Barboza would catch him with the overhand right. Then came the body kicks in the 3rd. Savage spinning back kicks to the body followed by round houses. Hooker was straight up zombie mode at this point. Ends it on a flurry up the middle. Fantastic performance from Barboza
