Biography:
Zakai has always been at God’s beckon call. Whatever it took, Zakai never once hesitated to do what was needed in order to help heaven’s cause. This was why he always assumed he’d be the natural choice when it came down to swaying lucifer and infiltrating hell’s upper echelon. Unfortunately, things did not work out the way he envisioned, and despite his loyalty and dedication, Zakai was sent to deal with lowly demons and other creatures, while another angel with no particular experience got the task that he deserved.
For years, Zakai watched in disdain as Jax failed over and over again and somehow God continued to give the weak angel another chance. But patience paid off, and now it had finally come to him. Jax had failed and God was no longer pleased with his efforts. Zakai had been close by, watching and waiting, and now he got to make a move and finally prove himself the worthy soldier.
Headcanons:
Zakai has always had a bone to pick with Jax and has no qualms about stepping over him in order to get to where he wants to go.
Zakai has been working in DSI for quite some time, although his story to informants and other hell loyalists, is that he was struck down from Heaven due to his fight with Theliel.
Zakai specifically asked to be placed in Jax’s old apartment and has been taking close watch of Lucifer since.
