1995 I randomly remembered this gum that I used to get at the Little Liquor Store across the street from my Apt complex. That’s the only time I ever saw or had this gum. I liked it & I remember my cousins brother basically telling me it had laxatives in it so I shouldn’t get it.

Okay. Since we’re unlikely to get more information about Aanya’s family in the near future, I went ahead and made these two characters. They were the best men at the Queens of Duren wedding and later became Aanya’s caretakers.

Th guy on the left is Zaks (can’t decide if he should be called Zakiyas or Zakariy). He was Queen Annika’s childhood friend, tag-along, and a little brother figure. Due to anxiety he is selectively mute, but can play the violin very well. He can be extremely emotional and affectionate. Would protect Aanya with his life if need be.

The guy on the right is Ekavir – Queen Neha’s brother. He was born with leg deformities and can only walk with the help of crutches, and only for a limited time. For this reason he has learnt to hunt and fight from horseback – horses allow him to feel capable. He is rather stern and has a low level of patience, but will usually give sound advice on almost any issue.

For the record – these guys are not a couple, just co-parenting.

Does anyone remember ZAKS? I had a set twenty-something years ago, and now I found it. Its box is long gone, but I remember there was some kind of robot that could be assembled from it. I have only blue, yellow and red tiles, both triangles and square, and several plain, connector and holed ones from each colour, plus 2 pieces of green triangles with a connector.

I’d really like to find the instruction guide for this robot in particular. It was almost as tall assembled as I was standing when two years old, so it should be like 80 cms (little more than two feet).

It's cool when a nostalgic thing from your childhood is common enough to find online, but also obscure enough to not command ridiculous prices.

So anyway I bought some Zaks.
