Lord above I have a new favourite HG kit and its name is Zaku 1! Where the hell do I begin with this thing?! The articulation, the detail, the weapons, the decals... there is so much to give and a limit of 10 pictures cannot possibly hope to show its full potential but damn it I will try!
Firstly the detail. Every nook and cranny has lining opportunity and it has plentiful options for those who love fine detail painting. The sculpt is superb and makes the kit look reminiscent of real machinery. The bodyline is sleek yet simplistic and makes for a kit well deserving of the spot as the first mass produced mobile suit. The optional included decals just add a finishing touch to an already perfectly detailed MS kit.
The poseability is beyond what I imagined. This suit makes best use of the joints provided by the new Zaku body type and, with its simplistic design, it gets full useage of the waist and leg joints now. I have had no popping pieces or any hindrance so I can give no fault there.
The weapons included could arm a whole team for battle! You get the anti-battleship scattershell cannon, the bazooka with 3 exchangable ammo clips (two stored on the optional shield shoulder), the stored and battle ready heat hawks and the drumfed machine gun with two bullet drums. All fit perfectly in the hands and are easily interchanged and easily wielded and stored.
What can I say other than I love this kit. 10/10, no flaws!
