I've always heard it as pan is attraction to all genders and bi is attraction to two or more but not all genders. So they're not the same thing at all but people still get them confused and then there are some (like me) who are still unsure about which applies to them. (Sorry if this is rude)

my interesting fact to you is that when i was like 7 i jumped into my grandparent’s pool without my life vest bc i forgot i was supposed to wear it and that could have ended badly. (i ended up swimmin’ to the side of the pool without any help of my cousin who jumped in to save me)
