“Bir bedeviye şöyle denildi:

‘Hiç cennete gireceğini düşündün mü?’

Dedi ki:

‘Vallahi, ben hiç şüphe etmedim ki cennetin bahçelerinde yürüyeceğim, havuzlarından içeceğim, ağaçlarının gölgesinde gölgeleneceğim, meyvelerinden yiyeceğim, gölgelerinde dinleneceğim; hurileriyle ve köşkleriyle nimetleneceğim.’

Ona:

‘Bunu, önceden yaptığın bir iyilikle mi yoksa işlediğin bir salih amelle mi hak edeceksin?’ denildi.

Dedi ki:

‘Benim Allah Teâlâ’ya imanımdan ve O’ndan başka bütün mabudları inkâr etmemden daha yüce, daha değerli hangi iyilik olabilir?’

Ona:

‘Peki günahlardan korkmuyor musun?’ denildi.

Dedi ki:

‘Allah, günahlar için bağışlamayı, hatalar için merhameti ve suçlar için affı yaratmıştır. O, seven kulunu cehennem ateşinde azap etmekten çok daha cömerttir.’

Bunun üzerine insanlar Basra Mescidi’nde şöyle derlerdi:

‘Bu bedevi Rabbine karşı ne güzel hüsn-i zan beslemiş!’

Onun bu sözünü andıklarında, ümitsizliğin sarıkları başlarından çözülür ve ümit duygusu onlara galip gelirdi.”

Ebu Hureyre’den rivayetle;

Resûlullah sallallahu aleyhi ve sellem  şöyle buyurdu:

Azîz ve celîl olan Allah, “Ben, kulumun beni düşündüğü gibiyim; beni andığı (her)  yerde, onunlayım (rahmet ve yardımım onunla beraberdir)” buyurmuştur.

Allah’a yemin ederim ki Allah’ın, kulunun tövbe etmesinden dolayı duyduğu hoşnutluk, herhangi birinizin ıssız çölde kaybettiği  devesini bulduğu zamanki sevincinden daha büyüktür.” (Nitekim Allah şöyle buyurmuştur):

“Bana bir karış yaklaşana ben bir arşın yaklaşırım, bir arşın yaklaşana bir kulaç yaklaşırım. Bana yürüyerek gelene ben koşarak giderim.”

Does anyone even remember Zann? Also did Saylos with him being being based on his toy box art. Saylos would have actually been a neutral figure, leading a gang full of both demons & human. While Zann was leader of the demon army, I didn't plan much for him though i did try giving him a personality

I actually based Zann on his pachinko game design (yes there's a devilman pachinko game, several in fact, even a devil lady one and they all look surprisingly good). Also i think this was the saylos piece i was inspired by

I am surprised that Saylos hasn't appeared at all in other devilman media besides apocalypse ova, not even in Grimoire, even though he was a new character introduced & has a sizable amount of fan art

Zann - Strange Ways / Inside Jungle - remastered reissue of 1980 private-press new age/fourth world/krautrock LP (Isle of Jura)

The next official reissue is the sought after LP from Zann originally released as a private press in 1990. 'Strange Ways / Inside Jungle' has become something of a leftfield holy grail in recent years with copies changing hands for upwards of 150 Euros. The LP has middle Eastern instrumentation at its core particularly wind & string instruments such the Tabla and Gong, but is a melting pot of influences incorporating elements of Ambient, Jazz & Krautrock with strong synth programming on a number of tracks. Zann started life as a 7-member live band in 1982. Founder member Udo Winkler had been a part of New Wave & Post Punk band Konec touring extensively and releasing one LP on Polydor titled ‘Schrille Blitze’. Zann was an outlet for more experimental works heavily influenced by Brian Eno's collaborations with David Byrne and Jon Hassell, German bands like Embryo and Dissidenten, David Sylvian and middle & far eastern music. In 1988 Udo and Hjalmer Karthaus built a small basement studio with a 4 track tape machine and musical experiments began in earnest. After the limitations of playing live it was an acoustic wonderland and they gave themselves no musical boundaries. The unlimited studio time meant they could pick up ideas and develop pieces gradually, friends would come to the studio to play and songs evolved from extensive jamming sessions. Upon completion of the LP in 1990 the band pressed up a handful of copies and sold them exclusively at record fairs in Germany. The LP has been fully remastered from the original DAT tapes with new full sleeve artwork from Bradley Pinkerton and is pressed on 180 Gram Vinyl.
