SO IN OTHER NEWS!
I’m very excited to do an astrology reading for a good friend of mine (and for an appropriate price!! Oh my goodness!) But I would like to take this time to suggest something one of my partners recently said out loud to me. “I was reading this one article on astrology and the writer said something that struck me as kind of funny, she said ‘all people should have an astrologer just like all people should have an accountant’ and i never thought about it that way before.”
And my partner, like the article writer, is very much correct! The stars are funny, they interact ALL THE TIME, and transits never stop. Mercury goes retrograde about four time a year, the outer planets spend about half the year in retrograde, and everything is sextiling, coming up conjunct, and opposing each other just as often as the clouds part and the suns set. These are things that affect the energy in the air, the energy flowing through your body, the energy you give and receive, and how you interact with others as these celestial bodies interact with each other. Astrology is not a one stop shop for the rest of your life based on one sign’s position the day you were born. It’s a constant collage in the heavens, always changing, transforming, and interacting just as we do when we pass each other on the sidewalk or at the supermarket. Saying hello to friendly faces, greeting strangers with a polite wave, or ducking our heads to avoid confrontation with someone you just don’t get along with and don’t want to cause a big commotion over.
Things that happened in my house today? EXPLOSIVE, and just as the Zap Zone is nearing the final degrees necessary to become exact. Past grievances mishandled or pushed down and down and down to be ignored coming out wildly, like a jaguar going for a jugular. Hands played close to heart with no resolution or acknowledgment are going to boil over and cause small resentments to build up! Me? I’m dealing with an evolutionary home front where it’s time to stop stagnating and get things on track to the next phase of my life. I can’t keep waiting around here hoping for change when it only further implants a seed of toxicity and terror in both my self-perception and the perception that it’s healthy to be in this environment any longer.
Frankly, right now it’s time we all give up the ghost and face our demons. Face the things we’re putting off due to self imposed anxiety or a fear of stepping forward. You step out of your safe zone, or you. get. ZAPPED. And we’re already being zapped each day, with revolutionary thoughts and ideas, with moments that alert us our times are coming (times to shine, times to face our fears, times to evolve and move on, etc etc) - living in the past simply won’t do!
And this isn’t the only time something like this will occur. Mars is zapping hard with Neptune going bonkers and Uranus being as uranian as it always is (stay away from boozahol devil’s drink giving you the bad decision itch and fantasy land keeping you complacent, guys, it’s time to get moving or start losing!). Saturn is always going to plug through one house in your chart or another, a constant personal boot camp teaching you to be a better person in a new way every two and a half years. And this isn’t a bad thing! We must all grow, we must evolve, we must listen to the stars and become our final forms every day as we change like the mutable signs when confronted by a fixed sign. (See: virgo meets aries, virgo is going to adapt to relate to aries on a level aries is already comfortable with, mutable means adaptive, mutable means we’ll mutate to reach you in the best way you’ll receive incoming transmissions. There’s nothing wrong with a fixed sign, but two fixed signs are going to run into some trouble if they can’t learn how to meet in the middle - call up your pisces pal and ask for suggestions, or a gemini if you can keep ‘em on topic for long enough)
And just as everyone needs an accountant to help them with their fiscal responsibilities and understand the financial world, everyone needs an astrologer to help them understand their responsibilities unto themselves and understand the celestial world and what impact it’s having on their lives at this exact moment.
