“With a single thought, I can alert Heaven to your exact location,” Zaphkiel’s eyes were not on the demon, but rather the book in his hands. Clearly, he was more concerned with the safety of the book than the security of Heaven. Everything that happens outside the gates of the archives was someone else’s problem. This area was his jurisdiction, “I suggest you return that book to me immediately.” (@hellfirebound)

”I very much doubt you’re supposed to be here,” he stared down at the crouched figure among the stacks of books. His was a quiet anger, never evident on his face or in his voice. But when someone invaded his library, he was immediately incredibly irritated. (@vaguewhispcrs )

It was no surprise that he’d be a target. He was a master of intel for Heaven. His capture was a disaster for the angels. Everything that could have gone wrong had, which is why he now found himself imprisoned, “I have nothing to say to you. You’ll just have to kill me.” { @soulsunforgiven || APOCALYPSE WORLD }

He was intent on reading his book. One of the billions he had at his disposal. It was incredible how many of his siblings ignored the information that were right at their fingertips. But he’d be damned if it was going to go to waste, ”Some just don’t learn from history,” he commented without looking up from the tome. { @chuckxalmighty }

“I don’t suppose you’ve been in the archives recently have you?” There was a considerable mess, clearly left in the wake of someone who had been searching for something. It would take him hours to reorganize the entire section; not to mention he needed to find out what was missing. { @cupcakemonwrites }

The strain of being expelled from Heaven had taken its toll on both him and his vessel. He shouldn’t be here on Earth. This was not his world. It could never be in his eyes. Adjusting to life on Earth was difficult. He had resisted for a while. But he found solace in the only place that felt like home: a library. Here he could manage the human books and texts. Caught up in his book, he hadn’t noticed the patron until now, “Pardon me. How may I assist you?”  { @iimpulsivity }
