Living under the sun in Newport Beach, Zaphne Marie Hendrix is currently 27 years old and is a bar owner. Her story:
Zaphne Keller was born in Los Angeles, California on October 31, 1993 to Oliver and April Keller. It was your average childhood, or so Zaphe thought. They moved to Seal Beach when Zaphne was a toddler, around two or so. Oliver and April opened Harlots and the business was thriving. They’d managed to keep the bar open for a few years with no hiccups until one day, They had to borrow money from the wrong people. They weren’t able to pay it back so April paid the ultimate price.
At the age of 5, Zaphe’s mother was shot in what she was told was a random home invasion. From that point on, It was just the two of them. No matter how depressed her father seemed, She always tried to make the best of things. She grew up in the bar, worked there throughout high school when it was busy. When she turned 18, Zaphe had gone away for college to study business with a minor in art. While in college, She met Lucas Hendrix. Lucas had always wanted to venture off into music and Zaphe supported him, even staying with him once he dropped out. Two months before college graduation, She received a phone call from her fathers lawyer stating that he’d been killed and she was to return home right away. She left almost instantly, packing up her life and leaving everything behind to return to Seal Beach.
While everything seemed to be going well for the two, Zaphne found out she was pregnant and it changed her whole life. She cleaned up her act and tried to get Lucas to do the same but, being lost in the crowd of touring and such, the two drifted apart. Zaphne spent the better part of two years raising their son without his help but once she went to file for custody, He seemed to get it. While she was in no way prepared to take him back, Lucas had started stepping up. Another year passed before Zaphne let Lucas back in, the two becoming inseparable once again. They got remarried, moved into a place together and everything seemed to be perfect.
The move to their beach house in Huntington Beach brought the family closer together. The two found out She was pregnant and it seemed like yet again, Their life was back in track. That was, until Zaphne’s mom came back. She’d been being held by the Russian mafia, being told that her family was dead so that was why she’d stayed with them all these years. April told her daughter that if she wanted answers, She’d have to come with her. While it meant leaving her family, She needed these answers. Without a second thought, She left Lucas a note that read ‘I have some stuff I need to figure out.’ And left.
She’d been gone for a few months before finally deciding to return. Her mother hadn’t provided all the answers she needed but, it had been nice to get to know her. Now, With Zaphne back in Newport, What does this mean for her and Lucas?
