TW death
Like how to explain to people that my mom didn’t have a quiet comfortable death. It was a painful process that lasted days. I could hear all of it. She was in pain. She wasn’t happy. I didn’t even get to properly tell her goodbye. Like to go through something so traumatic is just not very fun idk.

Having a heavily traumatic experience on a widely celebrated holiday sucks because nobody is gonna go out of their way for you. I mean NOBODY! “Look after your dad for me” is all people said, not a word about my own well being. Like man you’re telling me I had to listen to my mom die in a car for hours and didn’t even get to see a therapist afterwards? Like I feel like people were like “oh sorry for your loss” the day rhat it happened and then the next year “yayyy I love Christmas hey Zappy you excited for Christmas yayyy”

It was a semester before I graduated too so you could imagine how much fun that was all to figure out ! Wasn’t stressful at all !
I forgive people but it’s getting really hard for me to feel very close to anybody because even when people know they don’t seem to care. And idk! I want friends who care about my well being???
