Today i got told in a group discussion in a study club by a man in his early 20s that because i was a woman over 30 and 'past my prime' that my opinions on any topics are invalid. While that was shocking enough, everyone in the group just pretended it didn't happen. How do you think blackwatch bois would deal seeing that happen in public? Im pretty mad and i need some firey bois to calm me down. Someone to defend my honour 😠

-pissed. He is actually beyond pissed.

-If he heard it, he’ll definitely say something to the guy.

-“Wanna say that again? The only one here who’s opinion isinvalid is yours.”

-If he heard about it afterwards he’ll show up at your studygroup and keep an eye on the guy, Jesse’s hoping he says something again. Hejust wants a reason to kick his ass.

-And he’ll proceed to glare at everyone who doesn’t sayanything.

Genji:

-Genji is already a pretty angry person at this time, so thiswould just set him off.

-He won’t yell at him and won’t say anything out loud, butyou can just see the way he tenses up and the way he glares at the guy. You knowsomething is going to happen after the study club.

-Genji won’t tell you what he’s going to do and won’t saywhat he did. Instead, he’ll only disappear after the study club and show uplater.

-The next day the guy who talked shit comes up to you andimmediately apologizes to you. Swears he’s sorry and is a stupid human who hasno idea what he’s doing. The entire time he is glancing over his shoulder.

-In fact, everyone in the study club seems a bit nervous.They all avoid the guy now and you’re not sure why.

Gabe:

-Oh, Gabe is used to assholes like this. So, when he hears that,he’ll call the guy out.

-Gabe is pretty sassy, so he’ll knock the guy down a few pegsand then proceed to rub the guys face in the metaphorical dirt.

-“Hey carbon, if we wanted to hear the opinion of an asshole,we would have farted.”

-The way Gabe handles the guy is both inspiring andhilarious. All the guys ‘facts’ and ‘reasons’ are quickly dismissed by Gabe. Bythe end of the study club the guy is red with embarrassment and leaves, while everyoneis holding back laughter and on the verge of tears.

-Gabe is a commander after all, so he knows how to put peoplein their place while also inspiring others to stand up for what’s right.

Reaper:

When he was Commander ofBlackwatch he learned several languages, American Sign Language was one ofthem. So now that he’s with Talon, he uses his language skills to hisadvantage. He’ll sign with and watch out for you. If you’re a civilian he has Sombrakeep an eye out on you, and he tends to stalk around where you live. If you’rea member of Talon, he and Sombra still watch out for you.

He’s worried about Talontaking advantage of you in anyway. The man is honestly just worried aboutlosing you, even if you weren’t mute he would still worry. The man is a ball ofanxiety and depression, don’t get too upset with him. God above help anyone whodares to hurt you.

He finds it hard to signwith his gloves on, so he’ll only talk to you. But when he’s alone with you andhis gloves are off, he’ll sign and speak to you. He loves holding you close, andwhen he hums you tend to let out a giggle. When he asked why you do that yousigned, “I can hear your voice and I can feel your chest rumble. I love it.”

The man almost died atthat moment. He chuckled slightly and held you tighter against his chest.

McCree:

McCree knows English andsome Spanish, but not Sign Language. He vaguely remembers Gabe telling him heshould learn and younger McCree rolled his eyes at the idea of studying. So,when you and he first begin to talk, you had to write everything out or have someonetranslate. He learns for you though. It’s slow and he asks to know all thecurse words first. But he eventually becomes proficient enough to understandyou and sign back to you.

“Darlin, how do I signto Hanzo to get that stick out of his butt?” he asked. You gave him a look and swattedhim. He only chuckled and kissed your cheek.

He knows you can takecare of yourself and people in Overwatch will look out for you, everyone looksout for each other after all. But he always keeps an extra eye on you. It hasnothing to do with you being mute, it’s honestly because he worries a lot morethan he lets on.

At night, when you both arein bed, he holds you tight. He kisses your forehead and rubs your back. Heswears he’s never been more in love than at that moment.

Hanzo:

Hanzo does not know SignLanguage, but he is eager to learn for you. He regrets not learning, but youjust pat his shoulder and smiles. He knows several other languages so thatcounts for something, right?

Hanzo is an eager and quickleaner. At night you’ll catch him practicing and watching videos, he wants to appearas proficient as you are. It’s touching, and you love watching him mimic thevideos he’s found online. He even has a little notebook with his notes.

Like the others, Hanzoworries for you but respects your independence. You have your own life and yourown things to do, but he still worries. The worry is mainly about being targetedby Talon or assassins, you are affiliated with Overwatch and both Shimadabrothers after all.

At night, after Hanzo’sstudy session, he climbs into bed with you. He kisses your cheek and holds you close.He whispers how much he loves you in Japanese, thinking you’re asleep. You repeatthose words in your head until you do fall asleep. You make a note to ask Genjior Zen what they mean in the morning.

When Nick got the phonecall that you were in the hospital, he panicked. His cop mode went out thewindow when it came to you and your safety. He drove to the hospital fasterthan he should have, he was just glad no one pulled him over. He faintlywondered if a cop would have given him a ticket, or would they escort him tothe hospital. He was willingly to bet he would have gotten a ticket, even ifthey recognized him.

Once he was at the hospitalhe was told where your room was and that a couple officers were waiting to talkto him. He found Ward and a uniformed cop waiting for him.

“Ward. Where are they?”Nick said. His hands were shaking and he felt sick.

“Nick, they’re ok. They’rebeing examined at the moment,” Ward said. He rested his hands on his partners shouldersand squeezed slightly. Nick could only stare into his friend’s eyes.

“What happened?”

“They were attacked.Someone recognized them and knew you both were together. An argument happenedand they were physically assaulted. They held their own and some people gotbetween them and the police were called. They’re ok. A busted lip and hurtshoulder, but they’re ok Nick,” Ward said. He was trying to keep his friendcalm but Nick couldn’t be calm.

“Where are they? Where’sthe fucker who-”

“Nick. Don’t. Just, gosee them. The officer here has already taken their statement. They need you atthe moment. Go man,” Ward said. Nick nodded and slipped into your room.

When he saw your face,he wanted to cry. You lip was bruised and swollen, you had a bruise on yourcheek, and your right arm was in a sling. You were laying in the bed watchingtv. When you saw Nick, you brightened up and sat up a bit.

“Nick,” you said.

“Oh, gods above, babe. I’mso sorry I wasn’t there with you,” Nick said. He was immediately at your sideand pulled you close to his chest. You rested your head against his chest andwrapped your good arm around his waist. You breathed in his smell and let out ashaky breath.

“It’s ok baby. You’rehere with me now.”

“What happened? Do youwant to tell me?”

“I… I was at that coffeeplace we always go too. A guy saw me and started talking bad about you. He said…he called you such horrible names. Then he said I was tainted for fucking anorc and I should be ashamed. Then he grabbed my arm and pulled it hard. I hearda pop and I hit him in the face. Then he hit me back. Next thing I know copsare there and then, I’m here,” you whimpered.

“I’m so sorry,” Nicksaid. He held your face in his hands and wiped away the tears that ran downyour face. You broke down and clung to him tightly.

“I don’t understand… howpeople can be so cruel,” you whimpered into his chest.

“I’m so sorry baby. I’mso sorry. That will never happen to you again. I promise,” Nick said. He pulledyou against his chest again and kissed the top of your head. You only noddedagainst his chest and cried softly.

Nick knew people hatedorcs, he was used to being harassed and insulted. Shit, his own kind barelylike him. But you. To know that humans hated you for being with him, theycalled you tainted, it made him wonder what he was doing with you. That thoughtvanished when he felt your arm tighten around his waist and he heard youmumble, “I’ll be safe with you.”

You decided to keep her while two of herkittens were adopted, the small black one though wasn’t so lucky. No one seemedto want him. But Gabe was thrilled, he wanted the little guy since he was born.

“Yes, I’m sure. Thelittle guy loves me,” Gabe said. He was sitting down in your living room withthe young cat on his lap. He was asleep and purring loudly, his already massivepaws were kneading the air slightly. The mother cat was watching from thecouch, a look of content on her face.

“True, he does. And I thinkyou love him as well,” you teased. Gabe gave you a look but let out a softlaugh.

“I do. He’s going to bea monster when he gets older.”

“Going to be? He’salready double the size of his mom and is taking up your whole lap.”

“Shhh, you’ll make himself-conscious about his body size. Don’t listen to her guapo, she’s justjealous she’s not on my lap,” Gabe loudly whispered to the cat. Gabe ran a handover his head and the cat let out a loud chirp. You snorted and gave the olderman a kiss on the cheek. The noise he let out sounded almost like a purr.

“You alright?” he asked.

“Darlin, I know you’resad. But, the doctor said if you take it easy and do the things he said to do,you’ll be able to dance again. I know it’s hard right now, I know you want to getback in there and start dancing again. I know you do. But pumpkin, you need to knowyour limits. And right now, walking around base and trying to dance with Satyais beyond your limits,” Jesse said. You looked up at him and saw he was givingyou a knowing look.

“I just… wanted to dancewith her.”

“I know. But baby, youneed to give your body time to heal. The doctor wants to see you again in a week,correct?”

“Yes.”

“Then we’ll ask them ifthere’s anything else we can do for your knee. But until then, baby girl, pleasetake it easy. I don’t want you to hurt yourself more.”
