just a little reminder/update about requests and what's going on with everything!

i have the last two requests from that original batch being uploaded this week (on wednesday and friday). sorry it took me so long.

as for the 'in another life' series, there are 4 parts left since i upload those every saturday, which means the series will officially finish on september 5th (i have been working on this since may it is literally my second child) 🥲

i'm also working on a caleb one shot that i got SUPER invested in, along with a few other side works that aren't request-related, so i might want to finish some of those up first. so i know we all love the requests, but please be patient with me yeah? i'll open them back up and work on the ones i recieved since closing as soon as i feel like i can actually handle them without overwhelming myself.

then, once i'm ready to start 'the third point' series, i'll probably close requests again. i'm thinking i'll start working on that around october/november, and i think i've realized that when i'm working on bigger writing projects like a series, it's better for me not to overwhelm myself with a bunch of requests at the same time.

also with october coming up definitely doing kinktober or at least my own variation of it so been brainstorming ideas for that.

but basically in conclusion september = requests, one shots, drabbles, side works and me having fun, and then after that i'll probably go back into big project mode for a while.

also just as a general little sidenote — i do periodically work on fics for my other two writing accounts too! this account is still my main priority, but i'm trying to not completely neglect them. sometimes i get sidetracked or heavily invested by an idea for one of them. so i just wanted to mention that because if i randomly disappear it's most likely to work on something over there.

i was curious as i have seen other blogs do this and since i have been getting an influx of messages in my inbox lately i wanted to try this system out.

if you are someone who sends me asks or requests fairly often and you'd like me to be able to recognize you in the future, feel free to claim an emoji, nickname, or little alias for yourself!

i go by snow on this blog, even though that is a fun fact, not my real name.

for example, you could send an ask like:

"can i be 🐸 anon?" or "can i go by frog?"

and from then on, you can sign your asks with 🐸 (or just put it at the end), and I’ll know it's you, without actually having to identify yourself.

this is totally optional, of course! you can also change your emoji/alias whenever you want, or stay completely anonymous if you prefer. i just thought it might be a fun way for repeat anons to have a little identity here without having to reveal anything personal.

so if you already consider yourself a repeat asker/supporter and want to claim one, feel free to send me an ask! i think i will tag them with #zayne-snowflake—snow angels and that's how i will keep track!

i really love that i am actually starting to build a lil community. i have never had that before, so i really appreciate your love and support, and you can all live in my little winter cabin with zayne and i.

just a reminder that my request's are temporarily closed! i have had a few people send me some which is totally okay. i understand if not everyone got the memo i will still go through and accept them if they are within my rules and what i am comfortable writing. just be aware i will probably not get to them until late august or september as i mentioned in my previous post regarding this.

i am finishing up the requests i accepted BEFORE i closed them which is what i have been posting throughout this week. i have the last 3 that i am hoping will go out next week from that batch.

hi my snow angels i wanted to let you know

i will be temporarily closing requests — i want to thank those of you who have sent me something and for the support i have been recieving on those i have done. i have 6 of them i am currently working on that i plan to get out within the next week or so. nothing bad happened i am only closing them until i can make a seperate post regarding more specific rules and requirements for what i am comfortable writing. i haven't had any issues so far with having to ignore or delete any i just want to make things clearer for future submissions.

i am also closing them because i have a lot of personal things i need to focus on but when i am writing in my spare time i plan on continuing my second series, "in another life". i hope to finish the series this month if i can but i also don't want to rush myself. so i hope you don't mind but i think i will open requests back up in september. just in time for fall!

my inbox will still be open if you want to chat or ask me anything just remember to be kind and follow the rules.

update on what perspectives i write for

hey ya'll real quickly i am going to update my rules to provide some better clarification on what i write! i am still learning literally everyday so to avoid any confusion on both sides i always want to address everything in a concise way. i know some of these may not be "accurate" interpretations but they are what works for me.

fem!reader – you are the protagonist. the story is told from your perspective, and the canon mc is absent or does not play a significant role.

fem!mc – an original female main character is the protagonist. in this case using in game mc and her characteristics (job, personality, etc as best as i can portray and/or makes sense with the plot). you are reading as her and not yourself.

fem!non mc reader - you either are the protagonist or a secondary support character depending on the plot. however no matter what you act as a standalone character while the canon or original main character is in the story as well.

writing style – all reader stories are written in second person ("you"). i keep physical descriptions and defining characteristics to a minimum so the reader can interpret the character as openly as possible. some details may be included when necessary for the story, but i aim to keep the reader broadly customizable.

other note – i do not typically write with male or gender-neutral readers specifically in mind however, if you make a request for it i am more than happy to do my best to accommodate it. please note that some of my shorter works, such as headcanons, drabbles, or general scenarios, may be written in a way that can be interpreted as gender-neutral even if it is not explicitly stated. this will vary depending on the piece and the context of the writing.

if you are going to make a request i would appreciate if you tell me exactly what perspective you are looking for as to avoid any confusion and to give me the best chance to follow through on your wishes.

i wanted to make a separate post about this before adding it to my rules because i do think it is very important as i want everyone to feel like they have a safe space here and can understand my writing to the best of their ability. i am going to go through all my current posts and adjust my descriptions and tags to accommodate for these changes. thank you for the support!

hey everyone! first of all we hit a little bit over 200 followers today so i wanted to say thank you so much!

i wanted to let you know that i started a seperate blog for honkai star rail its @danheng-dreams if you want to go follow! i posted my first fic over there so check it out if you'd like.

i also started a blog for genshin it is @neuvillette-waves and i uploaded a fic on there as well!

i have more fics in the works for those accs as well as of course more lads works so definitely stay tuned ♡

okay so here's wtf is going on. i am not logging into the game i am 7 days sober. (yes in the beginning i was still logging in just not as much and it was bcs i rly wanted to continue to play through the cards i had) but ever since the crappy ass update i am bitter. i believe eventually but still most likely not anytime soon i will log back in because yes i still want to play through the cards i have...sue me. but as i stated before i will not spend anymore money on the game and the next few banners especially raf's new myth i will be skipping.

i really do think people can still play the game so long as they aren't forgetting about valko and they continue advocating for him in whatever ways they can (that's my own opinion, again take breaks, or don't play do whatever you want i am not judging).

the ways i will advocate for him is to continue to keep him alive through content. which brings me to my next point. i will continue posting fics on this account for all 6 li's. if you could not tell by now i love them all that isn't changing. writing is also a form for me to feel connected to them without having to login so honestly it's helping me.

i also am going to create side blogs for genshin and hsr content so if those are also games you enjoy pls be on the lookout. if you don't care you can ignore it and stick around for my lads content. regardless i am not going anywhere. in fact i am still just getting started. so thank you again for your support and i hope you can respect my decisions

hey my lovely followers and readers! i am almost done with the system fracture series and i cannot wait until it is yours. the stories will be posted every other day, starting with zayne on may 12th and ending with caleb's on may 20th.
