Invading Space (2016, 217 Final Project) plaster printed object, 3D modeling, enamel paint airbrushing, faux succulents, sand, glass. 

For this final piece, we had to use a program to sculpt anything. There was a lot of freedom in the prompt, and as I started to create I really enjoyed these cacti-like forms and almost biomorphic like qualities of the object that I was warping. So ultimately, I listened to this intention saying “make something from nature.”

This is where the overall composition composed itself.
