Some people want graveyard visitors to know more about who they were. A lot more.
Here’s a new one for the death options: A QR Code on a grave marker that will tell your story!
I would be sorely tempted to use the QR Code to do a meme, like a link to “Never Gonna Give You Up” or an explanation of The Game.
Which, anyone who knows what that just is -- you lost.
It’s an interesting way to be remembered, though. A grave marker can only say so much, but a QR code on one can lead to so much more insight into the person, and how they want (or how their family wants) to be remembered. There’s just so many options with this, and it’s such a little thing!
A little, touching thing.
I am curious how long they will manage to last, but this makes me happy.
It makes me think of the end of “Japan Sinks” on Netflix, when all those memories of Japan were posted, from hundreds of thousands of people, many of them dead, and the way Japan lived through it, and was rebuilt through it.
A virtual gravesite atop a physical one seems like the way forward.
