Montresor x Will ( this is gonna be a short one and I will talk about only one thing
The dog part. I believe this part was put to show that Will, yes is a dog. ( as in personality) But Montresor is one too. A dog that wasn’t trained will bite to survive, will fight for its territory. But a dog that has been already trained won’t bite its owner no matter what you do to it or how much you hit it. Montresor even sometimes gives Will life lessons some about god. How God won’t listen to him, this shows the dynamic between Will and Monstresor. Monstresor hates Will because of how different he is from him, he is everything that society wanted from him. Will stays with Montresor because he can’t imagine of the fact that Montresor hates him or finds him stupid. He changes his personality or his opinions for Montresor( I think this will make the dynamic between Annabel and Monstresor much different since Annabel in some way has Monstresor on a leash. He is not a rabid dog anymore.) ( I think he kinda sees himself in the dog)
