You know, the feeling of "I never should've left" is very new to me, and yet I really do feel it on tumblr. Sure, this place is completely different from the tumblr I left years ago. My friends aren't here anymore, nearly all of which have since drifted apart to newer things, the site looks different, feels different, works different....... and yet I really do feel like I belong here. I always did. I should've always posted my art here no matter what. I'm glad to be home. I may go for a while but I'll always return here.

Real talk one of the biggest losses of internet archive is when ppl deleted their tumblrs en masse All that art, tutorials, resources, just gone to the ether.

A retail story I have but don't tell enough is when I was working at a mall and "selfie" as a word was just becoming more widespread This older, rowdy gentleman walks into the store for a service and for some reason I have to send a picture of his document to my boss (which he heard, this store was a cubicle), and as I'm lining the phone to take the picture he hovered on top the counter and said "What, ya taking a selfie now?!" And I just.....froze there and slowly stared at him. He looked so embarrased his smile dropped and he looked away XD I admit I was more confused than annoyed at his "HA HA Youuuuu Younguns and yerr celled phones!!", but he caught me by surprise so maybe my costumer service smile was off and I just looked absolutely done at this poor man lmao
