Zulius. 💝 I'm in the mood for more fanart this year - but only of stuff I genuinely love and don't think gets as much attention as it deserves, like the amazing Centaurworld!

Zebra centaur girl
Dancing zebra centaur girl or zebra taur - by Cyberalbi
My most recent huge project, which took me MONTHS to complete, original plans for this were more grand, but shit happens and I just couldn’t
Originally I had this roughly sketched out, then re-sketched to get a nice clean version, then linearted, then coloured annnnd then my computer broke and all I had left of this image was that first rough, hella rough, sketch =‘)
Took quite a while to finally work up the motivation to complete this, but it happened and here we are
Features Zira the albino zebra ‘taur, and a pack of wild dogs, Geronimo (Purple), Frosting (Pink) and Apache (Dark blue), all belonging me, and a cameo by King, my girlfriend’s character, who is shipped with Geronimo
If I’m being honest, I really freaking hate how all he dogs came out, but I’m SO DAMN PROUD of Zira, one of the best ‘taurs I’ve drawn by far Anyone caught heavily referencing/tracing/plain stealing my art/designs will immediately be reported for art theft, you do not have permission to use this artwork in any way, shape or form
Centaur by Michalavin
TAURGUST SKETCH 0107: OBI feat. MARGOT ELAINE KEDZIE
In spite of the black and white stripes that cover his hide, Obi is a centaur who’s lived in a grey area for most of his life. Growing up, his parents were groundskeepers at the expansive Kedzie estate in Côte d’Ivoire, where he witnessed people enjoying a state of luxury he himself could not participate in. Were it not for the friendship he made with the outgoing Margot, granddaughter of the Kedzie matriarch who visited the estate during summers off from school, he may never have been able to experience anything other than what his parents’ station afforded him. But even this friendship brought with it grey areas of its own: Obi taught Margot how to ride horses by offering himself as her steed, but it’s Margot who receives all the accolades when she competes in equestrian tournaments. Her parents eventually brought Obi to the U.S. so he could attend the same prestigious prep school as their daughter, but being the only centaur in a school full of affluent, privileged humans left him ostracized and lonely. He’s even too timid to confess the feelings he has for Margot despite the deep trust they have for each other. Obi tries to be grateful for everything the Kedzie family has given him since he and Margot became friends, but the grey areas that have plagued him for so long offer no foundation on which to build confidence.
Margot is the kind of person who seems to have a knack for everything. Not only was she a straight-A student athlete during high school, she also has an artistic side: during moments of downtime, she unwinds by sketching whatever strikes her among her surroundings. Although her diverse talents have won her the admiration of many, they have also burdened Margot with a great deal of expectation. Friends, faculty, and even family each ask different, usually conflicting things of Margot, which often leaves her feeling confused and battling between doing what she feels is right versus what she thinks others want her to do. She’s hoping that the autonomy provided to her by starting at university will help her to break free from at least some of these expectations, but to do so she’ll have to avoid entering into new circles that burden her with expectations of their own.

Ultima VI came out in 1990. On some level, I still regard the hero’s entertainment set-up as extremely sleek and cutting edge.
