Valentine's Day 2026 - The Earl's Valentine's Ball

Every year, The Earl and Countess of Cumbria, and their surviving family, hold a Valentine's ball for the engines of Sodor. The ball is hosted by the Earl, Edwin Stewart and the Countess, Daphne Stewart, at Stewart Hall in Barrow-in-Furness.

They are accompanied by their surviving daughter and heir, Elspeth (Elsie) Stewart-Moran - better known by her engine name, Edward, and her husband Zebedee Moran.

Later on, they are joined by their eldest grandson, Percy, who is second in line to the Earldom. He eventually was accompanied by his girlfriend, Miss Mavis Hawthorne.
