it is. so much. it is so rich with human misery. it’s the devil’s food cake of suffering

yeah like i definitely am having to ration it bc of how much it affects me but i’ve never seen such a declaration of the depth/capacity for human suffering it’s ..... awe-inspiring

as someone who knows very little about this situation i could not be more interested in a defense of tonya harding

i mean realistically there’s no defence for her regardless of what her role in the whole thing was it was bad. but also she was this extremely talented and hard working athlete who was always overlooked because being rich and pretty etc is so built into figure skating as a sport and she basically said fuck you to that. and the way the media reacted to her was so blown out of proportion by misogyny and classism. and i just find her very fascinating for all of that.
