Where did you learn tarot?

I’m self-taught via books, apps, and lots of practice! If you’re looking for resources on how to learn, here is a super detailed master post with a ton of links to outside sources and other posts. 

Also, I would recommend checking out @tarotprose for more tarot tips. They have a ton of experience and have posted a lot of content that you would probably find helpful if you want to learn.

Would you recommend going anywhere in particular to learn tarot, in particular websites, since I can't afford books and stuff lol

Check out http://www.learntarot.com/ - it’s an absolutely free online tarot course that will get you acquainted with all the basics and get you started with spreads.

Also check out the Galaxy Tarot app and the Golden Thread tarot app. The Galaxy app is very much based on the traditional Rider Waite deck and provides a lot of information on that deck. The Golden Thread is a more simplified deck that can help with learning to work outside some of the Rider Waite symbolism.

Spend time with your deck (decks). Having lots of tarot books can make you more of an expert on books than on the tarot itself.

There’s a memory limit, but it’s not likely to affect you if your doing just text. They also limit features and number of devices but I used the free account for years before going for the next level up.
