Zeek, The Experience

I have never heard anyone say that they did not like music, after all, it is said to be the universal language of love. However, with contracts seemingly being handed out left and right, this same language is starting to sound like gibberish. Way too often, real talent is being overlooked in order for record companies to continue making money. Now don't get me wrong, 'Bandz' will make me dance, but they certainly won't make me feel anything, and that is something that I look for in a new music experience. Just when I was starting to lose hope, the Universe sent me something to make me feel! And what an experience it was.

'Zeek, the Experience,' 21,  is one of the latest artists to catch my ear and pull my heart strings. Hailing from a small town in Arkansas, Zeek has recently relocated to Philadelphia to continue to pursue his already booming music career. Not only does this young man SANG ladies and G'S, he's also an extremely talented songwriter and producer, which can be heard and felt in his music.

What I like the most about Zeek is his classic, yet contemporary sound. What a lot of people would call it today is "Alternative" R&B, but It would be unfair to restrict his music to any one Genre, let alone, just R&B. It really is hard to describe, but if R&B, Soul and Pop were to somehow come together to nurture and raise a beautiful love-child, the music Zeek provides would probably be that beautiful love-child. 

And as weird as that description may have been, it definitely got you thinking about listening to Zeek! And you should! After all, there's nothing wrong with a little more experience! ;)
