Devil Fruit: The Oni Oni no Mi
It’s a mythological zoan fruit. It allows the user to transform into an red and imposing oni. Depending on the degree of mastery, the user can perform three transformations: the minimum, the partial and the integral. The fruit, once ingested, changes the body of the user, apart from the transformations. They become taller and more muscular than their original appearance. Their strength too is really tenfold.
Fighting Skill: Zekai was a swordsman. But when he ate the fruit of the oni, he changed his weapon (to fit with his oni form) for a war club, a kanabo .He masters the six powers and the haki of observation and armament.perfectly.
Weapon of choice : The Kanabo
It’s a spiked two-handed war club. His kanabo’s spikes are made of seastone.
Favorite food: Seafood pastas.
Least favorite: Dishes with too much fat.
Hobbies: Trainning and listenning music.
Behavior: Zekai is a serious man. His work comes first. He is loyal, calm but terribly shy and clumsy.
Zekai usually wears an outfit semi-similar to those of the navy soldiers. It has a pretty vintage style, he likes to wear suspenders and high-waisted. That's what he wears under his officer's coat.
He was saved from a shipwreck when he was a baby and raised by Marga’s mother.
And he raised Marga after her mother’s death.
His scars on his elbows and knees come from his childhood. He was very clumsy. But now it’s better.
He is myopic. If he has the misfortune to forget or break his glasses, he will not even be able to steer.
He is very kind with children and knows how to take good care of them.
In a modern setting, he would be a teacher in a elementary school.
He has never been very lucky in romantic relationships. ( Because he is shy and also because he is married to his job and the Marine.)
Before, he was a swordsman but he changed his weapon to fit with his demon fruit. He have chosen a kanabo.
Zekai is tall (and muscular) thanks to his demon fruit otherwise he would be below 2 meters (6ft 6).
He ate it when he was 17 years old.
He is too protective with his subordinates (like Marga’s mother).
He cooks well, especially the salty dishes.
He is in the group of friends of Smoker and Hina. He is the youngest and they often tease him about it.
