A Little Taste of Home || Zelijah

Waiting in front of the Great Hall was almost as nerve wracking as waiting for the first task had been. It felt like there were just as many eyes on her now as there was then. She kept a constant watch for where Elijah could be. She had planned on just chatting with Jayden until her date arrived, but his had come all too quickly and she lost her chance to talk to anyone she knew without butting in. 

She brushed the silky pastel ribbon, that was a little too tight around her waist, absentmindedly trying to calm the bugs flying around in her stomach. She didn't like being made spectacle  but here she was ready to be paraded around the dance floor in front of the twisted Minister and his followers with all their strange ideas. The only thing that would make this bearable was knowing that she had a friend by her side.
