HC: TP Link swears like a sailor when he’s not around children (he always manages to catch himself before dropping an F bomb in polite company) but when he’s with friends his own age he doesn’t bother to censor himself as much

And then he swears in front of Zelda.

No one swears in front of Zelda! She’s the Queen of Hyrule you can’t swear in front of the Queen of Hyrule what are you? Mad?!

Link thinks he’s royally (haha) fucked up until Zelda swears in front of him. Turns out her potty mouth is just as bad as his is

botw zelink hc: link's body is covered in scars BUT the nastiest one, was self-inflicted by a failed attempt at cooking a new recipe. Zelda always kiss it, because he is somewhat self-aware of how bad it looks, but doesn't have the courage to tell her the whole truth.

F for TP Zelink

F=Feelings: When did they know they were falling in love? 

Link knew before Zelda did. They were at a small luncheon hosted by a member of the nobility, She was in her element while he was still a little uncomfortable with being “The Hero chosen by the Gods, Banisher of Twilight, defender of the light and Hyrule” (it was a big change from being “Link the Goatherd”) so he kinda just kept to the edge of the party and tried to keep quiet during the meal so as not to draw attention to himself. He kept sneaking glances at her all they way through the event, thankfully no one noticed that he was gazing at her rather unabashedly. 

And then she laughed. 

She just giggled at something someone said to her and Link felt his heart race in his chest! Her smile just made him feel warm all over and it kinda just hit him when she turned to look at him that “Oh shit, I’m in love with my friend the Queen of Hyrule” 

Zelda realized she was falling for him when she visited Ordon with him. All the kids where so happy to see him and they kept pulling at his arms trying to get him to go fishing with them or to teach them some new sword fighting moves or show off with the slingshot. Link was trying to keep them calm till Ilia showed up and all the kids quieted down. 

Colin managed to fall over in the rush to see Link, scraping his knee against the ground. Zelda watched as Link ran over to him, lifting him up in his arms and helping to clear the wound. She was caught by how gentle he was being and how kind he was. 

When Colin and the rest of the Ordon kids had been calmed down Zelda found herself fixating on how great of a father Link would become. Then she realized she was thinking about Link being a dad, then she realized she was thinking about Link being a dad to HER kids. 

Then it hit her like “I’ve fallen in love with him… oh no”

tp zelink and botw zelink for the shipping question: who walks around the house in their underwear

I’M SO SORRY I DIDN’T SEE THESE TILL NOW! I’ve been on mobile for the past 2 days and the app never tells me anything 

TP: Depends on the time of year and where they are. If they’re in the Castle then Zelda is most likely to walk around her room in her undergarments but only during the summer when it gets to warm to wear ornate and beautiful gowns all the time (because they get super heavy and no one needs that in their life) Link will walk around in his underwear but only in Ordon. He never feels comfortable enough in the castle to walk around so exposed. Ordon is his home. Zelda will also strip down when in Ordon but, again, only during the summer 

BOTW: DO YOU HAVE TO ASK?! IT’S LINK! (Post Calamity Link that is, before his sleep he’d never dream to wonder around his home in his undies. But after the calamity he’s very VERY comfortable to do so. It was a big shock to Zelda at first and she spent the entire time blushing scarlet)

tp zelink (shipping questions) who gets the first gray hair?

Link does, however neither of them actually notice. His hair is so light anyway and when he starts to grey he just goes a lighter blonde. It’s more noticeable on Zelda due to her having darker hair so they both think she started graying first but NOPE it was our Hero 

(also Zelda’s hair goes silver grey while Link’s goes blonde grey. He’s forever jealous because he thinks she looks so dignified and beautiful with her “hair like starlight”)

R=Remember. Their favourite memory of each other

Link’s fave memory of Zelda is where she’s cataloging different plants and flowers just a little ways away from the royal laboratories. She was so happy and comfortable surrounded by the plants she studied, it made his chest hurt to see her so carefree and excited for once. He doesn’t have many memories left, but this is by far his favourite one of Zelda. 

Zelda’s fave memory of Link is newer. He took her to Hateno to see his house, he also took the time to show her around the town (knowing she would take comfort in the fact that the Hylian’s managed to thrive even after the apocalypse) He took her to the inn for a drink, and introduced her to Sophie at Ventest where he offered to by her some new clothes, before taking her to East Wind to pick up ingredients for dinner. Then they ate together under the apple tree in the back garden. It was the first time she’d felt at peace and happy in over a century

Hello, this is also your tp zelink trashcan friend @zeldasdiaries btw. I have always had this headcanon that Impaz is a sort of granny figure to Zelda. She was the first to say 'these kids will end up together, trust me', no one believed her. Now she owned 90% of Hyrule’s citizens with her prediction.

Tp zelink. We've discussed this one, but it's so good: they have stashes of cheesy, romantic novels and poetry books they read in private. Link melts listening to Zelda’s voice, specially when she reads passionate poems.

YES! he loves her voice and listening to her talk always helps to relax him she could read farming reports to him and he’d find it relaxing and beautiful But when she’s reading something they both adore (like poetry and cheesy romance novels) he just feels at home. Sometimes he’ll sit with his head in her lap as she reads to him and plays with her hair and he’s in HEAVEN!
