My Muse(s) Will Tell You How They Stim!

The RK800s tested showed the signs and behavioral tics of Asperger’s Syndrome, but as they didn’t hinder the testing process very much, it wasn’t mentioned in their files and it wasn’t thought of as a concern while Connor was active. But since Cassius is the “upgrade”, the tics were eradicated from his code, and therefore he has no need to “stim”.
For Connor, a lot of his stimming is rubbing his hands or playing with his coin. They help to keep him in the present moment, working off some of that restless energy or help him to focus on his pre-construction abilities, otherwise he’d be a bit too distracted. He also loves, loves, loves to touch things, having become extremely tactile after deviation. Cuddling with Sumo is great because it adds pressure therapy to the wonderful softness of the dog’s fur, and many a days has Hank returned home after Connor to find the android laying on the floor, with Sumo right on top of him, and both of them very happy with the arrangement.
For Corwin, he mainly works on his carpentry, and he finds it to be a soothing activity, like a special interest he developed during his period of self imposed exile. He also likes to touch things, like when he’s doing Penellope’s ( @ykcoded ) hair, carefully brushing and styling it out of her face on days when she wants it pulled back.
