No self control

I told myself I was only going to do a quick drawing in one color. The next thing I know, it’s an hour and a half later and I’ve used four colors and my shoulder is aching from being hunched in one position all this time. 

I guess there are worse things to be addicted to. 

Ideally I’d as some shading to this, but that would require me busting out my colored pencils and I’d probably be here for…

Work in progress - Circular Zentangle

Work in progress – Circular Zentangle

After doing the number 5 drawing yesterday, I thought, why don’t I do more circular drawings? Isn’t it funny when you have a thought like that and then think, how did I never think of this before?

Tomorrow I think I will add some color to this, rather than the usual pencil-shading. I’m thinking colored pencils.

Pepe takes a ride

Pigma Micron pens and prismacolor pencils on 4×4 paper tile

Inspired by yesterday’s Zentangle, and encouraging words on my Facebook post, I went ahead and did a little sketch of our old friend Pepe. 

I’m still not entirely sure how to properly blend prismacolor pencils, but I’ll keep trying!

Two-for-one Tuesday!

Sakura Gelly Roll pens on black Zentangle tile

Today I busted out another quick Gelly Roll Zentangle, but I felt I must do more. Last Tuesday I drew the larger octopus drawing and I really had fun with that, so I drew another, quicker, smaller, but still fun octopus.
