Yeah the manga explanation was literally tohru's dragon form was sexy by dragon standards so her human form is sexy by human standards which A: makes like no sense because standards aren't static, 1000 years form now will tohru's human appearance change to match new standards? it shouldn't and B: was literally put in to make Kobayashi envious of tohru elma and lucoa sexiness. and that's bad writing.

Exactly. The manga’s writing is sooooooooooo goddamn shallow and reeks of male perspective. Lore only exists as convenient, and even then, we wind up with things like this. I’ve said it before, but it feels like the manga basically stumbled into an interesting formula for the characters by sheer accident. Kyoani really worked wonders with the source material when they made the anime.

I don't think iruru will show up, Tohru's dad's section will take up at least 5 minutes, and there's no way they can fit iruru's entire arc in the remaining amount of time. they would need multiple episodes. if she does show up I really hope they do change the "thing" chapter. an easy solution would be to change it to a 24 hour love potion/spell or something instead of that garbage in the manga.

yeah they implied tohru’s dad before too (and THAT would honestly be the best way to end the show imo because of the conversation kobayashi and tohru have afterward). but the preview showed (supposedly) Iruru peeking in through a portal, and also shows Tohru with her wings out fighting (which she only does against Iruru).

so idk how they are gonna do it, but they can EASILY avoid the “thing” part.
