Something something Storm ghoul who when summoned immediately becomes obsessed with Rain, following them around everywhere, constantly touching them, whether he's holding them, their hand, leaning against them, draping his arm over their shoulder, always some form of contact. His instincts are on high being freshly summoned, and with tour he's had no time to relax and adjust. Every sense is dialed up and his gut is insistent on courting that pretty little water ghoul.
And Rain? Oh Rain loves it. They bask in the constant attention and affection, leaning up on their tiptoes to kiss his cheek in return, squeezing his hand, leaning against his side and chest. They’re constantly given princess treatment, and they love the looks of jealousy from his pack when the new summon spirits him away constantly. I just know they play it up and egg him on. They're so good for him, and in doing so they can be a brat towards the others. It drives everyone insane.
Its nearly impossible to separate the two, on the tour bus Storm’s whisked Rain away to his bunk, his instincts insisting on a tight little nest, curling around Rain protectively. Nearly every night spent in a hotel, Rain will be found in Storms room.
One of Rain’s favorite parts though? If someone wants to take them for the night, they have to ask Storm. At first, most of his pack mates scoffed at the thought. Storm had hardly been topside for a month, and yet they had to ask him for permission? Rain loved it. Watching his packmates bite the bullet and ask for the water ghoul. The attention and being verbally asked for always makes them preen. Most of the time, the pack could have Rain easily enough.
It had become aparent there were a few ghouls that had to really earn it.
Storm had easily relinquished Rain when it came to Mountain and Cirrus. The earth ghoul’s stature made him imposing, even though he would have been on his knees in an instant to have his tadpole. Cirrus was not to be tested, she was one of the highest in the pack, and as possessive as Storm felt, if the ghoulette wanted something it would be hers.
Aroura and Phantom would have to beg, but it never took long for Storm to hand his fishie over. They always just sounded so sweet, although Rain had a sneaking suspicion they were cheating with their Quint.
But Dew? He had to be on his best damn behavior if he wanted Rain. At first he'd spat and scoffed and the thought of sharing, throwing empty insults and weightless threats. But eventually, he had become the sweetest talker, learning every right word to say and trick to pull so he could have his Rain. Maybe he hasn't lost that siren song after all.
As for Tempest and Papa, Storm brings them Rain like a trophy. A pretty little prize that he'll gladly provide, letting them take the water ghoul apart as much as they please. Storm always purrs proudly at the sight of his mate absolutely wrecked.
Rain in mornings will be found wearing one of Storm's shirts, hanging off their lithe frame and exposing their shoulders and neck. They're constantly covered in pretty marks, and as soon as they disappear more will show up by the next day. Storm can't let anyone think Rain hasn't been claimed.
Once they get back to the abbey after tour, and everyone's settled, the possessiveness dies down. The pack doesnt have to ask permission for Rain (although a few still ask anyways, they just love the dynamic). Storms instincts are no longer gnawing at his gut constantly.
Rain will still reek of the air ghoul though, and frequently late at night you can hear the water ghoul being claimed yet again down the hall.
