So does Izuku like All Might/Heroics in general in msa? I recently reread it(still love it so much) and I got the impression from the interrogation part that Izuku kinda doesnt care for All Might at all. Does it have to do with him having needed One For All's Spirit possessing him?
izuku used to admire heroes, but he’s become “disillusioned” with them as existences who can neither help nor protect him... while they may do good for others, in his opinion they’re people who have nothing to do with him. therefore getting involved with them, gaining their curiosity and attention and interference, is only a troublesome thing, and he’d rather have nothing to do with it at all. at this point, having been dragged into an encounter with the eight precepts, he mostly feels resentment for “the heroes,” including all might, whose failure at kamino ward has had long-lasting consequences for him.
nonetheless, though, there is a part of him that wants to believe in heroes still
Euden: Interesting. So what you’re saying is that morality isn’t cut and dry. Even the best people have a darker half to their personalities, and nobody is really perfect.
Valyx: No, I’m saying that having the ability to be evil makes you evil.
Euden: Well that doesn’t seem right.
Valyx: Evil isn’t right. It’s wrong!
Euden: Look, all I’m saying is-
Valyx: Bad.
Euden: Just let me explain why I disagree with-
Valyx: Evil.
Euden: It’s just that nobody can be completely-
Valyx: STOP BEING SO EVIL!
zeravlarotsen replied to your photoset “Which champion should I buy Fur bait or Cyberpunk lady”
I didnt follow *furry*mordred i followed LESBIANmordred you know what you must do
I picked the furry but shes a lady and also some personification of death so i’m still winning
why...why was yoshida allowed to touch Arc V....why did he butcher Yuya so much...why just put me out of my misery i barely followed the manga but like YIKES
dude same i dropped it like halfway thru and only kept up with it here and there thru a few friends that were still reading it but like lmao what a fucking shitshow ARC V MANGA WAS A MISTAKE but alas watching people absolutely lose their shit over this ending and hating it even more than the anime has me like
Oh man. The Arc V Manga was always not good but WOW I didnt think it could get worse...
yoshida can ALWAYS make it worse, never underestimate him and his shit writing
i just had a forbidden realization what if Ashiya is Mephistopheles or maybe an Alter of him
i’m CERTAIN that ashiya has so many composite and why he is an alter ego in the first place
i got: soldier becoming onmyoji / humiliated rival of seimei / seimei’s killer(charmed his wife) / the one who gave him his name /
- ashiya michitaru/ashiya douman/doumahoushi
or commedia dell’arte archetypes / the divine comedy
- harlequin, alichino, pierrot, pulcinella (my absolute favorite and the one i’m most sure about as to why we can even summon him, the archetype of the servant who always win, by following the person who Wins, no care for his master outside of his own thing) "I am Prince of everything, Lord of land and main. Except for my public whose faithful servant I remain."
and since mephisto is yet another “trapped in his own hell as servant of the devil” (not guda, fits how he calls the alien god “thou who art as lucifero”) “he who, by raillery, attacks the virtues, waters contempt for talent, makes the gleam of glory stifle with the rust of slander. “ pretty much fits him yes?
jesters always know more than the rest of the court and every character who fits that just directly applies to him honestly
the mephisto i was referencing is the one from merchant from babelheim, crumbling from the memory of faust dying, a comic from his designer and also just the thought of how wild they could go with ascensions hhhhhhhhhhhh
So i gotta say i really love your blog and all the fun meta on it! I was scrolling through it and saw your CasCu and Mash's small mentor/student meta and did you know in fgo fes 2017 they actually made some acrylics which has Mash wear CasCus hoodie?
oh i absolutely saw that and it made my heart go :)!!
