Zerith-Var being the Good Necromancer guy who uses his power to redeem souls lost to darkness and doesn't trust Meridia because he knows of her greed makes me wish companions could interact with npcs outside of their quests because Solstice would be a hot bed for interesting character dynamics for him and the other characters.

How would a Redguard like Azah perceive a necromancy that's intended to facilitate a lost soul's path to a better resting place than the darkness they fell into? How does Darien, the 'walking, talking Light of Meridia' reconcile a necromancer with someone who's good and wants to do right by others, and help them find peace instead of using them for his own ends? What's Walks-in-Ash's view of this ability to pull a soul from the dark where it festers and essentially place it back in the river so it can continue its journey to its proper destination? Do any of the Corelanyas see this altruistic use of necromancy and wonder if things might have been different for their clan had they used their necromancy to such an end?

And in the wake of Gabrielle's death, does anyone dare ask him if he can find her soul? To learn if there's anything left of her, anything they can acknowledge and lay to rest? Does Zerith do it of his own accord, to try and help soothe the grief of those around him or at least to give them some closure?

There is so much you could explore when examining the Hidden Moon and Worm Cult and how they use the same school of magic to radically different ends and how it affects the perceptions of others and the relationships at play between the characters.

Also Zerith would body Mannimarco for what he did to his Tamiit and that is a threat and a promise
